>Tim: ERVY 8G VERY +20 20
>Will: HJNSSUU H7 J.HU +14 14
#note I absolutely did not consider 7H HUN or HUNS, which have the nice attribute of setting up JUS for a strong score. JEHU bingos massively more often (20%+) but only scores 3 more points on average than HUNS, indicating that when I don't hit a bingo I struggle to score much. I assume that's because any time Tim has an E he's playing something with EVERY, crippling the JEHUS hook. JEHU probably does better in sim than against a human, too - a human is going to understand that I have an S more often than usual and try to block my hook.
>Tim: ADGINNR 10H .NDARING +66 86
>Will: DHNRSSU O7 HUN. +24 38
#note I considered 11D HURDS, O6 SHRUG, and HUNG. I didn't like that HURDS eliminated my S hook, but perhaps scoring 33 keeping NS is just too strong to worry about that. I knew SHRUG would be higher equity, but I was concerned that bingos ending in S didn't fit down column N as easily as they did with HUNG; but SHRUG makes that difference up by 1. drawing more sevens and 2. hitting the through tiles of UNDARING more frequently, especially the R - DNS hits the R significantly more often than my DRSS leave after HUNG. Disappointing error.
>Tim: AEOZ F6 ZOEA +44 130
>Will: DFIRSSS 11E DIFS +31 69
>Tim: QT K9 Q.T +24 154
>Will: ?ORRSSX 12K SOX +33 102
#note I didn't consider this in-game at all, but 12K SOReX is actually really great here. Firstly it's 18 more points; that's good, but not typically enough to burn a blank. But it's also better defensively - it offers nothing new back to Tim, whereas SOX offers big scores with just an I or a U. Finally, the RS leave is a great starting point for a bingo next turn even without a blank, still giving me 40% bingo (SOX is at 65%).
>Tim: FOO N6 FOO +21 175
>Will: ?IIRRST 13L RIT +26 128
>Tim: EIILNRT 14F NITRILE +64 239
>Will: ?ABEIRS 15A cARBIES +87 215
#note Probably should've done RAbBIES to create a better threat to bingo to down column A.
>Tim: EORW O12 WERO +37 276
>Will: ACEIKMS N13 .AK +24 239
#note Quackle likes 13E CAKE/MAKE/MAKI and SAMEK far better than TAK, which makes sense, because CEIMS isn't a great bingo leave and doesn't work especially well on this board. JAK certainly looks better if I'm going to use those two tiles. Of those Quackly moves, SAMEK looks clearly best; it scores excellently, puts a threatening S out in space, and draws 5 to maybe snag the blank.
>Tim: EEGO 13F OGEE +22 298
>Will: ABCEIMS B10 CAMBI. +36 275
#note CP picks CAMBIA by a mile, but I was conflicted, obviously; hanging the C there is just so bad. 7H JAB looks good, but allows Tim to close all my lines easily with any ABY play afterwards. My hope with CAMBIA was simply score a lot on this turn so that perhaps on subsequent turns I could play through the C for very little to open annoying lines.
>Tim: AOY 12B .AYO +21 319
>Will: EEGSTTW 9C WET. +11 286
#note I almost did C11 WAE so that I could play ACT/TWAE setting up my case S with an A draw, but decided to be more proactive making a lane, knowing full well I was taking a bit of an equity hit.
>Tim: AAU 8A AUA +14 333
>Will: CEGSTTV 7C VEG. +25 311
#note Forced to do this.
>Tim: IO 13B .IO +19 352
>Will: CDLPSTT -CDLPT +0 311
#note Not too surprising of a draw. Still close enough that a good draw here could pull it out.
>Tim: ELM 7J MEL +12 364
>Will: DEINSTU K6 D. +3 314
#note Stopped DUNITES just in time - here, I'm fishing for PP? for PUNTIES/IDE and PETUNIAS, which could be enough to win against a bag-emptying block of a low score.
>Tim: ?AELNPT A1 PANETeL. +80 444
>Will: EILNSTU 2A .LUNITES +70 384
#note LUTEINS for two more with the IDE spot I just made! I missed a ton of stuff this game, a couple moves a bit tricky but several simpler ones I just flubbed. Too bad.
