#note not big on opening all these lanes when up, but scoring points is also good and closed options suck. considered A(C)OLD for a long time, which confused Josh on the stream cause I had A OLD set up on my rack.

FOU is kinda lame, fishing with ADELT is dumb on this board.

I did OUTLED instead of AUTOED because i figure he's fairly consonant heavy after JIMP, so giving him 2 consonants and a vowel is better than the opposite.

#note didn't think of VICHY! it looks better than this, I think it's gonna be hard to play real defense from hereon out, so keeping AKN as a more consistent score is nice.

the V certainly has some defensive value, but it's also rough as a scoring tile.

#note who doesn't love a good L setup

the board is pretty open so my main goal is just outscoring consistently, hence the L setup

#note could do ORALITY for 6 more at c7, which gives back more bingoes. not a ton more though, cause the placement of the tiles at E11 and E12 gives more flexibility for 8 letter words (these tiles can appear in more places in the word than they can if I play at C7).

The more defensive aspect of having tiles at E11 and E12 is that I can really exhaust the bottom of the board with 12 row plays through the R or to the N, which are a bit harder after the left side bingo.

I think I'd do this again, but I can see it being too cute given the 2 row and the marginal diff. in immediate bingo %.

#note yeah looks like PIX is even better, or apex, EVEN IF parev# is good. I liked the X for scoring power, N1 AX stuff, 3 row X plays.

basically I score as much on average after pix, but 15% of that is bingoes, so IX is probably slightly more consistent as a scoring leave.

#note definitely like leaving 2 in the bag here to make his out in twos harder. I don't mind if he gets a 14b play, cause I can often outrun him with an out in two in the endgame.

Q likes WO(A)D slightly more than this - it blocks some A1 plays that score a lot and save outs (like acinar, acedia, acari, etc.).

it looks like a solid play, AERV might be a bit less flexible than ADER but it also leaves 3 in the bag and blocks his easiest 6 tile plays, which are his best bet for beating me.

#note really fortunate that he didn't draw an out - DOATED 3B is my best endgame

#note not garroter just to be totally safe, wasn't 100%. extremely lucky to pull through with this after the awful parev mishap
