#player2 W Will Anderson
>Andrew: AKM H7 KAM +18 18
>W: ABDFFVW I8 WAFF +24 24
#note Was all set to play this with KAMA# and then doubted myself right as I was placing the tiles. Big error.
>Andrew: EEEP J8 EPEE +33 51
>W: ABDETUV 11E BEAU..T +58 82
#note Giving this +10 in Quackle because Andrew challenged this and also WAFF on the previous turn.
>Andrew: IIII -IIII +0 51
>W: AADDEIV K5 AVID +24 106
>Andrew: CDIS L9 DISC +27 78
>W: AADEEJN 12A JEANED +51 157
>Andrew: ESW A12 .EWS +42 120
>W: AACEIOQ L4 QI +24 181
>Andrew: IILMNTU C6 MINUTI.L +74 194
>W: AACELOS 13L OCA +18 199
#note Turning point here. This or CANOLA? I opted for OCA because it seemed far likelier that the bingos I'd draw afterwards would actually play. Quackle slightly prefers CANOLA.
>Andrew: DEINV M3 VINED +36 230
>W: AEELRSU D4 LEASURE +79 278
>Andrew: LOOPY 3A LOOPY +30 260
>W: EHINNOO A1 HO.ON +27 305
>Andrew: ?AENRRT 15A .TRANgER +74 334
>W: EHILNOR N6 HORN +31 336
#note Right idea setting up the case E, but wrong word. HORI# in the same spot is a bit better. Also B11 HELOT looks quite strong; it doesn't block the big X spot alongside VINED, but the existence of the OXO spot on column B mitigates the need to block it.
>Andrew: GU 3M .UG +7 341
>W: EIILOTX B1 OX. +43 379
>Andrew: IZ O1 ZI. +39 380
#note Glad I just drew the A
>W: AEIILTY O7 LEY +33 412
#note Really lazy, maybe the low point of my tournament in terms of effort/focus. I need to play E3 YITE here to block BOGARTS/BOGGART#. Technically I would've lost anyway but who's to say how the endgame would've turned out if I make it tougher? I chalk a lot of this up to fatigue; I even saw YITE but I don't think I even really looked hard at the unseen tiles. I think I quickly saw that there was only one vowel left and I assumed I was home free. Incredibly relieved that USA still won 3-2 this round.
