#note missed LUNIER and ROUEN, which both look fine. UNTO sims best but it's a bit risky, and with the two L floaters it kinda sucks cause the R getse taken a lot. Still wins a sim. I also considered that he might think I was setting up the X cause I was taking a long time.

#note NONRURAL is better to not float the E

#note didn't like ABY cause it doesn't do much to the board and DIRR is shitty for outscoring - WARBIRD has some defensive merits (closing the EFG column, the 12-13 rows, I column especially), and the Y will be good for scoring. Also considered BReADY to take out the big lanes and the top left of the board. It's 9 points fewer and IR is probably slightly worse than Y for outscoring, so ti felt close. WARBIRD kills bready in a sim... hm. Sim says bready doesn't actually lower bingo % by that much, so warbird it is.

I had a strong liking of warbird over bready, which was part of why I played it
>sally: ABO 11E ABO +24 113

#note idk man FUJI is the play usually but with the Q out do I take that risk?

he obv doesn't keep it with ABO very often, occaaaaasionally he keeps QU or something but that's so occasional

I felt a lot more comfortable with FUMY cause it's still a good outscoring option but doesn't have this monster downside
>sally: KOP 3A KOP +31 144
>jackson: DEIIJSY H12 .IDY +27 241
#note KOPJE is cool! I like keeping the J here cause if he bingoes the 2 row will be good
>sally: AEMNQU 2J MANQUE +59 203
>jackson: EEIJSTV O1 J.E +30 271
#note wow I totally whiffed on JETE and on EEJIT.

EEJIT is the play, JEE sets up JEEZ which sucks. god
>sally: AI 3L AI +28 231
>jackson: EEIOSTV A1 OI. +21 292
#note ooh I didn't see DEVOTES, which is cool. It's nice cause bingoes off devotes will really exhaust the whole board, and devotes does well for outscoring. OIK is to block huge plays like CAREX, and other 50 point plays which keep him in 1 bingo range
>sally: FGO 10E FOG +28 259
>jackson: ?EERSTV I9 VERSTE +34 326
#note this was so bad honestly.

firstly (O)VERSpE(N)T is cool, also cause it doesn't leave as many bingo options as my bingoes from the O in neuronal.

VERSTE is terrible because it sets up an XI spot, which is unlikely but still nontrivial. He still has SEZ/QIS for 64, which is a big worry.

Bingoing from the O means blocking SEZ, and yes, I'm leaving 11 in the bag so if he bingoes he could draw a second bingo, but with 4 in the bag I can either play 3 tiles and try to outrun a bingo, or the board will be closed enough that I can just play bingo defense. Either way, the bingoes are definitely right here, cause VERSTE leaving SEZ and future bingo options isn't very good. I think OUTSERVE is the play to not set up a big O column lane
>sally: EH J10 HE +28 287
>jackson: ?AEEPTV K11 VEEP +30 356
#note VEEP is okay because I can beat a lot of bingoes since I'm leaving 6 in the bag, and his bingo will give me endgame tempo. Still though, I'm allowing SEZ to come down and VEEPS plays that open new lanes, so this is far from foolproof.
>sally: ESZ 4M SEZ +64 351
>jackson: ?AENTTX 12K .X +18 374
#note missed EXTRANET, which might be best. the idea with EX is for him to bingo and me to bingo out, or for him to play 1 tile and then for me to probably pass, forcing him to bingo and for me to bingo out. I think EXTRANET stops enough bingoes that it's worth it.

Q comes up with (N)EXT, which looks great, cause it stops basically all bingoes and will outrun consistently
>sally: AAEGRST C11 T.G +20 371
>jackson: ?AAENTT 6G A.NoTATE +59 433
#note lucky to come away with this game. VERSTE was really bad strategy. I'm not sure about VEEP and EX either, I think NEXT has to be better at the very least. EEJIT was also big
