#player1 Allan Allan Oyende
#player2 W Will Anderson
>Allan: IQ 8G QI +22 22
>W: ELLMORV H4 VERM.L +15 15
#note Or 7H MOL maybe. Figured maybe I get VERMILY# and he won't try it.
>Allan: EEFGHOW 6E WHE.EOF +26 48
>W: ACDLNOO 5D LOAN.D +34 49
#note Crud, missed LOCOED, same spot. Ugh
>Allan: ADEGP 4A PAGED +35 83
>W: ACEELLO A4 .LACE +27 76
#note Coin flip with the other options.
>Allan: BHSUY 10F BUSHY +39 122
>W: EIIJLOT 6A .JI +26 102
#note I waffled between K3 JETFOIL and this for a little while, failing to consider B2 JIAO which seems a bit worse. The extra bingo% for AJI vs JETFOIL is quite large and JETFOIL also gives up the triple, but it's close enough that I don't need to go for broke chasing bingos...tough one.
>Allan: DEOP 5K OPED +24 146
>W: EILORTZ N5 .ZO +33 135
#note This play gets crushed in sim by F10 BORTZ which somehow bingos a very comparable amount of the time to DZO despite leaving just EIL compared to EILRT. Obviously BORTZ is better on defense than DZO as well to not give up the wide open triple. BLITZ is a similar option. That really surprises me. B8 ROZIT was the other play I considered, and it looks pretty good too.
>Allan: INX O7 NIX +32 178
>W: EEILRST M7 STERILE +72 207
>Allan: NOTU 4J TOUN +24 202
>W: ADFIOTY 7A .OFT +31 238
#note I missed L9 TODAY which looks really strong. Scores more, sheds two more tiles with ?? to come, blocks the E of STERILE...damn.
>Allan: ABIT 3L TABI +23 225
>W: ADIRRTY N11 DIRTY +25 263
#note I must've been tired, I don't understand this. I don't think I even considered any of the good plays here - 11B DIARY/DAIRY, L11 TARDY/L12 ADRY...
>Allan: EIN O13 NIE +29 254
>W: AAEEGRR 11B REGEAR +20 283
#note After NIE# which was a pretty favorable outcome for me, I'd like to try and block up the board and draw a blank.
>Allan: AIORSTU A1 OUT..... +36 290
>W: AAMNSUV B9 MU.VAS +26 309
#note This certainly felt like a game-loser at the time but sim strongly prefers it - I think my odds of drawing a bingo to counter Allan's must be pretty good. Still, it's hard not to look at a play like O1 VAIN as the right idea here. I was scared that Allan would bingo with overlaps on row 12 after VAIN and I'd just auto-lose, whereas I would just need to draw a counter bingo through a MURVAS letter...
>Allan: ?AEIIRS 13B .vIARIES +68 358
#note But sometimes he has nothing and I let him bingo when he couldn't otherwise, and in the worst spot for me (no lines to counterbingo)
>W: ACKNNOW H12 W.AK +45 354
>Allan: ?AG 2M gAG +20 378
>Allan: (CNNO) +12 390
