>wally: AEGHIKY 8G YAK +20 20
#note Q likes HIKE best on 1st glance, but I think EIGH leave has better synergy than AGY.

Note: This game is from 2010, so remember w were playing with OWL2 lexicon.
>john: AFF 9I AFF +17 17
>wally: EGHIOQS H6 HO.GIE +21 41
#note 7H HOG is a little better, but turnover is desirable (especially given the result with my luck).
>john: LMO 11E MOL. +12 29
>wally: ?AENQSZ 6H .AZE +36 77
#note Could get 53 for QuEAN/AMOLE, but didn't want to give up blank. Of the middlish plays, I think F10 ZONE was probably best, cuz it leaves me a vowel that works well with the Q.
>john: GRW K4 GR.W +16 45
#note I'm guessing he didn't have any vowels at this point.
>wally: ?ENOPQS -Q +0 77
#note Quackle shows me I have a nice-scoring play (L6 SONE), but all I wanted at this point was to get rid of the Q. QOPh is another possibility, but I think I have a really great chance of bingoing next turn if I just exchange here.
>john: ACD 12D CAD +19 64
>wally: ?ENOPST L7 OPENeST +89 166
>john: ELLNORS M1 ENROLLS +73 137
#note 7 extra points...but I bet he wishes he'd made the sacrifice instead of putting an E in that position in the triple lane.
>wally: CEIJNRT 1H REINJ.CT +275 441
#note I was so excited about making my highest play ever, I counted it as 257 instead of 275!
>john: ABEIRUV 11K Y.M +14 151
>john: ABEIRUV -- -14 137
#note John was flustered, too, apparently.

>wally: EEEEINT N1 .EE +16 457
#note Perhaps a bit risky, but I am not worrying about losing now.
>john: DOTY 13I DOT.Y +22 159
>wally: AEEINST O3 ETESIAN +77 534
#note Missed two common 8s (or perhaps at that time, I wasn't sure of them).
Only 6 points less, so no huge deal.
>john: ?AEMRUW 2B MUdWARE +78 237
#note A ridiculous phony, but it gave me a decent Q play, and I'm pretty sure he's not gonna bridge the gap.
>wally: AEIIOPQ C1 Q.IP +30 564
#note QUAI is better even tho it's fewer points because it leaves me with a nice consonant, but with 3 Us, the blank and an S still out, QUIP is invitingly hookable.
>john: ABIO N9 OBIA +14 251
>wally: ADEIOUV O12 DIVA +35 599
#note Quackle likes UVEA/QUIPU better for 30, but I am not so sure. The bag is only one-third vowels, so I like those odds on balance.

>john: OV 11J VO. +10 261
>wally: EGIRSUX 14I EX +53 652
#note I think I saw SUQ already and wanted to provide a temptation. XI isn't much better with an O out.
>john: BILN 15F BLIN +22 283
>wally: GIIORSU 1A SU. +40 692
>john: AHT 4C .ATH +18 301
>wally: EGIIORU 5B RUG +23 715
#note Didn't know ERUGO at the time. Didn't see OURIE, either.
>john: DNRTU A5 TURD +20 321
>wally: EIIO 2L O.. +12 727
#note Probably running low on time and nervous about making goal of 700...didn't realize I'd already crossed it. There are only slightly better alternatives.
>john: N F10 N.. +6 327
#note I thought my final score was 709. It wasn't until I got home and recounted that I was shocked to find it was really 727. Unfortunately, John had already gone over the clock on his previous play, so his final score was 323. That's 404 points of spread!

At the time, this became my highest game and featured my highest play. I have beaten both since.
>john: (EII) +6 333
