>cesar: ADGORTV 8G VOG +14 14
#note didn't see GAVOT, but i didn't look that hard.. i thought VOG would be decent. VOG is very defensive.
>audrey_t: CY H7 C.Y +8 8
>cesar: ADINRRT 9H .IRR +12 26
#note whoops. maybe i didn't think YIRD was a word? it does look kinda funny. -3.5

>cesar: ?AEIRSY 14F YA +28 209
#note i didn't want to play AYE or AY because it seems easier for her to score a ton on row 15. quackle likes AYE by about 0.5% win. dunno it's close.
>audrey_t: BDO 11E BOD +24 247
>cesar: ?DEIORS 15A DORIES +30 239
#note jeez. well, i know she didn't have the X or else BOX would have come down, so this gives me a chance to draw it. i didn't think of 6N O(D). is this right? or N5 OI. maybe i do have to fish again. shoot!! -10
>audrey_t: UX 12C XU +22 269
>cesar: ?EMQTVW 14B WE +22 261
#note my thought here is that i could not afford to leave that open. if she plays there, she'll go up by more than 50 and the board will be closed. there's no way exchanging is right here. quackle prefers -QVW by a little bit. i don't like that at all. but at least this is close (normally this wouldn't be even close to close, so at least quackle does seem to know how to play closed boards sometimes). -2
>audrey_t: AKNW 6I KWAN +22 291
>audrey_t: AKNW -- -22 269
#note oops!
>cesar: ?EHMQTV 6I THEM +22 283
#note i have a chance to win now. i really wanted to play VET, and i think that's what a top player does, but i'm not a top player (yet). i didn't play VET because i was scared of a disaster scenario where i draw all consonants. however, that's not something to be scared of. the bag is actually vowel heavy (did i consider that correctly?) if i play VET, i force her to play something like WAKE or KNAWE (if she knows it) which i can overlap or go through for potentially a lot of points. i know that THEM gives back AW, but i thought i'd be able to re-overlap, and she'd be consonant heavy (maybe? i have no idea what she kept with AKNW). overall, this was a mistake. i wish i had a better reason for having done THEM, but i did consider both and decided that i win more often with THEM. i don't know. -1.5
>audrey_t: AW 5J AW +25 294
>cesar: ?EEIQTV 4K EVITE +24 307
#note absolutely TERRIBLE blindness here. again, i did see that she could overlap EVITE with the K, but why not dump my QI at N5!? (quackle though prefers 4K EVE here. i didn't see it but it makes perfect sense, she can't overlap it with the K!). i wasn't terribly low on time, but i need to play precisely here. -4
>audrey_t: ABK 3M KAB +36 330
#note ugh!
>cesar: ?AFLOOQ N2 Q.. +24 331
#note i have to block lane 14 here! with the blank in hand i can survive. 11B LO wins > 80% apparently? -9%

>cesar: ?AEFLOO B9 EF +28 359

#note sillily i didn't see ALOOf this turn. suck. -9
>audrey_t: E C11 E. +9 427
#note nicely played Audrey! i was thoroughly outplayed here.
