#note I missed a significantly better bingo lane on row 12. MOTORMAN would have been a difficult find there, but MONOCRAT is definitely one that I could have spotted if I had taken the time.
>Paul_Gallen: DJNR G3 J.RD.N +24 358
#note Now I am chasing Paul by nearly a bingo, and I correctly remembered that LINCH is a noun while LYNCH is a verb, so there is no linchers*. I do not have a legitimate bingo, but I did see the very good play HISN O12 which still keeps me very much in the game. Though the board is getting tight and I might not be able to bingo again, with the blank, X, and Z still out, I don't need to bingo to come back.
>Dave: CEHILNS 3I NICHELS +78 383
>Dave: CEHILNS -- -78 305
#note Unfortunately, I chose a horrible moment for a word knowledge failure. I remembered for sure that LINCHES had one other anagram, but I never came up with LICHENS. At first I thought the word might be elchins*, but I eventually remembered that it was only ELSHINS. Then when I thought about the possibility of nichels*, I convinced myself that it must be the other anagram. NOCHELS and NICHERS are both good. This was a case where word knowledge rust basically cost me the game.
>Paul_Gallen: EV O10 .EV +10 368
#note I was somewhat lucky that Paul couldn't do anything big on this turn, but he at least took out my big HISN spot.
>Dave: CEHILNS D2 HI. +12 317
#note I missed the nice scoring spot for MEH B4, but at this point it was probably better to take the risk I did anyway. Leaving that spot open also leaves the possibility of MAX, which could be a key to a comeback. Now, I have strong high scoring bingo possibilities on the top with the CHIN and SHIN hooks, while only the T, W, and blank hook for him.
>Paul_Gallen: ?GIZ 1A ZIGs +45 413
#note Paul told me after the game that he only drew the Z after SEV.
>Dave: CEILNOS 15A LICENSO. +83 400
>Paul_Gallen: EMNOWXY 15M OXY +50 463
#note It was slightly better to play OXY or YEX overlapping EUGARIE instead of underlapping, but he wins either way.
>Dave: ABEERT 3I BERATE +28 428
#note I still missed the row 12 spot. ABORTEE was one more point. But it would not have changed the result here.
>Dave: (MEWN) +18 446
