>Lipey: AEKNOSY 8G YOK +20 20
#note YOK (20 + AENS for 15.8) is slightly behind KAYOES (36 + N for 1.3) in straight equity, but a quick sim shows it almost five points better. Such is the value of not giving away AES as floaters, and not giving access to any pink squares.
>Wapnick: AILRU 9G URALI +22 22
>Lipey: ADEENSV L3 ADVENES +80 100
#note Luck in Scrabble is so hard to quantify since the best strategy is often to play in a way that maximizes the chance of "being lucky" on subsequent turns. Or put another way -- kitchen table players who haven't thought of the concept of rack leave must think tournament players are preternaturally lucky to average 2+ bonuses a game.
>Wapnick: QT 3K Q.T +24 46
>Lipey: BDEEGIL 8K B.IGE +28 128
>Wapnick: ?ABEIRU 7A dAUBIER +67 113
#note Scored as 66
>Lipey: ACDEILO A4 COD.LE +33 161
#note CADDIE or COLDIE probably better for balance.
>Wapnick: AHIN 4A .HINA +20 133
>Lipey: AAAAEIN -AAAAI +0 161
#note AIDA under QAT is fine.

We make our own luck: if I play CADDIE last turn, I have AAAELNO this turn, which is going to be way more flexible to clean up (maybe 3B ALANE, just looking quickly?)
>Wapnick: ENOX 3B OXEN +49 182
>Lipey: EELLNOR O8 .NROLLEE +77 238
#note I'm not sure why I didn't play this at O1.
>Wapnick: AISTTUW 6J WE.JUN +26 208
>Wapnick: AISTTUW -- -26 182
#note WEEJUNS is sticky S
>Lipey: EFIMOPR 6E OF +28 266
>Wapnick: EJU 5J JU.E +28 210
>Lipey: AEIMPRY 6J AP.RY +37 303
#note 8A LIMY is nice. Topscoring 14I EMPAYRE is way too adventurous.
>Wapnick: INTW 10H TWIN +31 241
>Lipey: AEFGIMR 11K GIF +28 331
>Wapnick: OVW 14L WOV. +20 261
>Lipey: AEMNRRT 15H MARTEN +35 366
>Wapnick: AAMSSTU 14B SATSUMA +76 337
>Wapnick: CH (challenge) +5 342
#note Didn't know this word. Off to the cardbox with ye!
>Lipey: ?EGIIRZ 13A RIZ +48 414
#note Championship player here likes GRIZES E9 leaving one tile, which is beautiful. It blocks all the row 12 bingos; leaving a terrible floater. Any scoring play using the D12 square will leave Joel down a tempo with a feckless underpopulated rack. I suppose the realest risk here is if he's drawn something like DASHPOT that plays on row 2. Even then DASHPOT puts him up only 18 so if I can score 30 with the bunny -- with that floating Z there to aid me -- I should be home.
>Wapnick: CH 15A CH +27 369
