#note Or DINER.
>Marty: AEELLST F2 LEALEST +68 215
>Bill: DEFIJNR 3C JEF. +28 188
#note Bad miss of FJELD. This gives back a ton of points but almost felt forced, but of course FJELD is miles better. INJERA is also better and was also missed.
>Marty: MOV 4B VOM +33 248
>Bill: ?ADEINR 12I RANDIEs +73 261
#note Timely draw.
>Marty: EIITY 11E YITIE +18 266
#note I would have to imagine YITE at 13K is better, but this set off an exciting sequence.
>Bill: CNRRTXZ N11 N.RTZ +30 291
#note Surely worth it to let him have the Z and draw any vowel other than E for a 50+ point X play.
>Marty: CMW 13G CWM +24 290
>Bill: CEIOQRX 10F QI +64 355
#note Even better!
>Marty: AEF 15L FA.E +60 350
>Bill: ?CEIORX H13 .OX +39 394
#note I knew EXORCIZe for 302 had no chance of staying open, so I didn't get too disappointed, but man... just have a bingo from the V or something one time.
>Marty: GOW 5C GOW. +32 382
>Bill: ?CEIIOR M1 ICE +21 415
#note Missed ELICItOR. Probably would've doubted it and passed on it, anyway.
>Marty: DOS 6A DOS +18 400
#note Marty said I blocked a bingo with ICE, can't remember what. Depends on what the rack was, but I would think keeping the D would be wise to keep the possibility of bingoing on row 2 (starting above EMO).
>Bill: ?AIINOR A5 I. +3 418
#note I ran the clock down pretty far on this one. I definitely have to be concerned about being outrun without a bingo, but the only other things that block effectively underlap DO and give up big scores on the triple. Apparently I did block another bingo. It was nice of Marty to tell me about this after the game - definitely gave me a little boost.
>Marty: L G9 L.. +4 404
#note Marty was wondering after the game whether he should've started trying to outrun on this turn instead of taking a last stab at a bingo. I can't remember exactly what it was, it was something like he had BO/BOS at 9G, but already had SORBET and decided to keep that in reserve and leave one in the bag, but it couldn't have quite been that because that partial rack doesn't allow any bingos from the O and I remember he pointed out one that he could've drawn. Anyway, we were both under severe time pressure by this point.
>Bill: ?AIINOR 12C pION +23 441
#note Wins 100%, that's all I care about. Of course Quackle will win by more by knowing that he couldn't have had anything.
>Marty: BELORST 8A SORBE. +33 437
>Bill: AIRU K10 RA.I +8 449
#note I didn't see RUPIA, nor would I risk the game on that. I only saw the ALT that I'm blocking in the scant seconds remaining.
>Marty: LT 4F .LT +4 441
#note I ended up with 3 seconds on my clock and Marty with 6, iirc. Fun game.
>Marty: (U) +2 443
