#player2 josh josh
>Jackson: AEEHLMO H4 MAHOE +26 26
#note definitely between HAOLE and MAHOE here - EL seems slightly better than EM and MAHOE scores 2 more, which counters the slightly worse scoring spot it opens. I get reparallels so it's fine. MAHOE wins a sim
>josh: EEILMNS 6H .EMLINES +71 71
#note only bingo

Josh: I spent over 3 minutes here looking for something else, certain I was missing another option.
>Jackson: ADEILTW O4 WA.TED +42 68
#note WISED and WISTED are both improvements - I wasn't quite sure enough of WISED to play it, and figured it was only slightly better. I didn't see WISTED but I also would have been unsure.
>josh: AAELORT 8A AREOLAT. +77 148
>Jackson: GILLNOT N8 TOLLING +75 143
>josh: AEEIIRY I3 AIY.E +22 170
#note old new words are finally settling in
>Jackson: BCFFIIW J2 FIB +25 168
#note Didn't know or see BIFFIN! Definitely the best play. CLIFF also sims better than FIB - I liked keeping FI for the O column, but Q says the clunkiness of the leave is too great and I average more after CLIFF. Huge mistake here
>josh: AEIIQRS M12 QI +37 207
#note I do like TOLLING-S, however I am unsure and would have to face a tough decision if I draw into a bingo hooking it, especially if I have something playable elsewhere.
>Jackson: CEFIKOW E5 COW.IKE +64 232
#note craaaaaazy bailout draw!
>josh: ADEIIRS 15H DAIRIES +86 293
#note Josh took a long time to play this and I felt he was doing so intentionally to bait me into challenging. I also recognized TOLLINGS so I felt okay about accepting

Josh: I liked TOLLINGS and this also was tougher than usual for Jackson because it's an especially bad time to lose a turn, but mostly because of what happened in his game against Robin where she hooked TAILING-S and he challenged unsuccessfully. I couldn't remember for sure but I liked TOLLINGS and TOLLAGE and other TOLL words. It seemed like this was valid. I was not trying to induce a challenge however, but definitely hoped that the time it took me to play would give Jackson the impression I was doing that. I was actually just looked for another bingo because I was scared to death.
>Jackson: ACEEFOU K11 FEUA. +16 248
#note I saw E(N)FACE for 32 but wasn't sure of it - can't afford to have a phony challenged off right now. FEUAR isn't actually much worse, OU is terrible and CEO does a lot better with my deficit. I didn't like that FEUAR really closes the K column and leaves only the L column for top-right bingoes, but nothing else sheds unwanted vowels in quite the say way as FEUAR
>josh: AAGORTU M2 ARGO.AUT +80 373
#note Josh: extremely lucky Jackson didn't block this. I probably would have missed OUT(WASTED) or chickened out and the game would have slipped away. Benefiting from an opponent's uncertainty is one of the most efficient ways to win a game. I was also still unsure of TOLLINGS and he had me on hold until he played FEUA(R).
>Jackson: BCEORYZ J8 COZEY +49 297
#note josh held this for a bit, I was also not 100%
>josh: ??DHNTT C2 uNHaTT.D +76 449
#note it was at this moment that I knew

I was a luckbox
>Jackson: BDRRSUV D11 BURD +18 315
#note Didn't see BUHR which is okay - the pool is quite consonant heavy so I would probably still play BURD to set up the S and shed the extra consonant. At this point
>josh: EJNNUVX 4A JE.U +44 493
#note I might have to let him bingo here. I should play VEN(D)U to block a lot of stuff and threaten other stuff. The J and X are playable in the endgame, but the V, much less so.

Quackle recommends VEN(D)U but also A7 N(A)VE, a great blocking play and X setup. I dig it. I wasn't really trying to find anything else than 44 points even though I was aware of my lack of concentration.
>Jackson: INRRSSV 2L V.R +12 327
#note Didn't want to play VINS for a couple reasons - It sets up XED (which I now realize is silly, cause he has P(A)X anyways), it empties the bag, it leaves 3 consonants with an ugly consonant pool. V(A)R might be better for spread just cause it doesn't empty the bag, threatens bingoes, keeps a vowel.
>josh: ENNOPVX B8 .OVEN +19 512
#note great two-vowel draw. However I was under the impression RO(U)SINGS* was a valid play so I didn't truly feel safe. I also wanted to play 5G P(AY) to set up my X with F4 VOX, but he was two likely to bingo.
>Jackson: GINORSS 14J G.S +17 344
#note damnnnn the best endgame is INS(U)R(IN)G
>josh: NPPX 6E .X +25 537
>Jackson: INORS A11 ROSIN +23 367
#note hi sam
>Jackson: (NPP) +14 381
