>Joey_Mallick: ABEIOTU 8D BIOTA +20 20
#note Lots of close choices here. I certainly don't want to keep U's in general, but having the E alongside helps.

#note JEHU is a better cleaner upper.

>Joey_Mallick: AAIIOQU 11K QUAI +52 238
>Jackson: EKLPRUV O9 PULK +29 281
>Joey_Mallick: AAIINOS 3E .IAO +12 250
>Jackson: ACEERVV L4 VERVE. +26 307
#note maybe the wrong idea with VERVET... he actually bingoes more immediately. he may not bingo as much down the road cause H1 plays will close things down, but REV scores more and keeps scoring tiles. REV looks like the right idea here to just accept his bingoes and outrun. His rack might be too good to be sacrificing for longterm defense. A sim with AINS implied has VERVET winning by a touch
>Joey_Mallick: AEGINRS 2H SERINGA +72 322
>Jackson: ACNOORS A1 CORONA +32 339
#note I don't remember seeing CAPON, but playing 2 extra tiles to reach for the blanks seems like the right idea here. wins a sim by a bunch
>Joey_Mallick: ?DDGILL B11 GL.D +17 339
>Jackson: DEENOSY 15A DENY +43 382
#note I am losing this game only if Joey bingoes and I don't: if I bingo I basically guarantee the win, and if neither of us bingo I basically guarantee the win.

the thinking with DENY is that I keep an extra vowel to counteract the very consonant heavy pool, and I leave 3 in the bag which basically gives him one chance to fish. DENY bingoes a lot myself and holding the E is important to raise my chance of bingoing: if Joey bingoes now, I need to bingo out to win. If Joey fishes, I need to either bingo or block one of rows 14 and 5 and hope he can't hit.

One thing I didn't consider is that playing NEEDY makes his fishes a bit less flexible: if he plays two tiles he will empty the bag and give me full knowledge of his rack. If Joey has or draws both blanks, I'm not winning this game anyways - NEEDY both raises my chances of drawing a blank and makes it so that I win more often when I do draw one blank, cause Joey playing 2 tiles will allow me to block his bingoes when he only draws them in one place.

I'm not sure which is better between DENY and NEEDY. A sim has me bingoing sliightly more after DENY, but I like the timing of NEEDY a bit more.
>Joey_Mallick: ?CDIILW I11 C.W +12 351
#note The situation looks dire, but more blank magic awaited.
>Jackson: EEMNORS 5I MOR.EN +16 398
#note lots of plays win 3/8, only if I draw the L or ?. this is one of them
>Joey_Mallick: ??DDIIL 14I LIDDIng +77 428
#note I was about as unsure of this as LINDIED. Fortunately I couldn't go wrong with either.
