#player2 Joshua_Sokol Joshua Sokol
>Alec_Sjoholm: IIIIII -IIIIII +0 0
#note I played this game extremely horribly, because that's what I do when I screw up, I screw up even more.
>Joshua_Sokol: DFGIIST H7 GIF +14 14
#note very similar position this game vs last game. My opponent exchanges (for some reason I believe he's closer to a bingo afteer x6 than Orry was after his x3)

I have two I's and a 14-point 3-letter word that sets up my T vs playing the T straight away. FIG was counterintuitive because it didn't set up my T, but it also doesn't set up his. I think I play GIFT here. -1.5
>Alec_Sjoholm: AELNOTV 10C VOLANTE +70 70
>Joshua_Sokol: ADGISTV 8G V.GA +8 22
#note I'm already going to lose this game on turn 4. I can't keep the G or the V, I have to open something up. AV(O)ID is obviously better but for reasons mentioned already, I can't play that.
>Alec_Sjoholm: BEIKO D8 BO.KIE +30 100
>Joshua_Sokol: ?DEINST K5 DENSITy +87 109
#note this isn't even the highest scoring bingo
>Alec_Sjoholm: FIT E9 F.IT +33 133
>Joshua_Sokol: EHMOPRR J2 PROEM +34 143
#note MORPHER* and REMORPH* aren't even words as described best by their asterisks
>Alec_Sjoholm: AEEU G7 A.E.UE +21 154
>Joshua_Sokol: ?CHIRRW C12 WHIR +36 179
#note sometimes aggressive plays excite me, like this one
>Alec_Sjoholm: EEY 15A EE.Y +33 187
>Joshua_Sokol: ?ABCLRZ 5I Z.. +13 192
#note this was crazy, because I was going for CARBOLI(ZED) or CARBOLY(ZED)*, both of which Alec would have challenged. I really thought the one with the Y would be valid but it's not. I could also draw an S and that would be amazing, however I'm blocking my second spot for the word we are all thinking of with Z(ED). I knew this was probably slightly suboptimal, but given that I draw a 94-point bingo with 9 tiles, it sims pretty well and offers me the second best bingo chances among candidate plays, second to B(I)Z at 9J.
>Alec_Sjoholm: III -III +0 187
>Joshua_Sokol: ?ABCLRU 8A CUR. +24 216
#note and here I chickened out of CURABLY and CURBABLE. I also missed RUBRICAL and ARBUSCL(E). This was the playing really horribly part of the game. This is also the worst play to the B. CLUB, BUL(B) and BUR(B) are all better than this.
>Alec_Sjoholm: DEIR H12 DIRE +26 213
>Joshua_Sokol: ?AABLNU L2 BUNA +26 242
#note here I miss BiNAU(R)AL
>Alec_Sjoholm: INW M1 WIN +20 233
>Joshua_Sokol: ?ALOPST 1M .OP +24 266
#note I waste no time looking for more bingos here because I can just bingo next turn. -7
>Alec_Sjoholm: EILRU C3 RULIE. +14 247
>Joshua_Sokol: ?AADLST 4A AD.LATeS +70 336
#note wow I actually saw an 8-letter word
>Alec_Sjoholm: EX B4 .EX +54 301
>Joshua_Sokol: CGMNOST H1 COG. +21 357
#note CO(DEX) but I was blocking his J/Q given his reaction to me having ADULATES implying he was nowhere near a bingo.
>Alec_Sjoholm: AQ F2 QA. +32 333
>Joshua_Sokol: IMNOSTT 5A M..ONS +39 396
#note this should be enough
>Alec_Sjoholm: EJRY 14F JE.RY +39 372
#note he didn't even try to win
>Joshua_Sokol: DHIOOTT B13 TH. +28 424
#note L9 TOOTH is 4 better because he's going out. But I wasn't 100% on his rack so I figured I'd go for an out in two myself, maybe he has nothing or maybe he'll phony
>Alec_Sjoholm: AALNS 13J ALANS +15 387
#note no luck
>Alec_Sjoholm: (OOTID) +12 399
