#player2 Joshua_Sokol Joshua Sokol
>Orry_Swift: III -III +0 0
>Joshua_Sokol: BGIIRTW H7 WIG +14 14
#note BIRT is not as good of a leave as I thought, but setting up TWIG is value enough I think, as well as not giving Orry a T to work with after the exchange.
>Orry_Swift: AEY I5 AYE +13 13
>Joshua_Sokol: BEIIRTT J7 BITTIER +69 83
#note held and released
>Orry_Swift: APT 6F PAT. +23 36
>Joshua_Sokol: ABEILOU 13H OU.EBI +18 101
#note U(R)BIA might have been missed here. I think I considered this and BU(R)IAL, and went with this because he seemed to be going for a bingo with his last few plays, so he shouldn't have anything heavy. But as in last game vs Jackson, re: CILANTR(O) it might still be safer to play it safe. U(R)BIA keeps the L with the two vowels, so that's the way to go.
>Orry_Swift: ADIV H11 AV.ID +39 75
>Joshua_Sokol: ACGLNOS M8 SOLAC.NG +62 163
>Orry_Swift: DEJRU 15J JUD.ER +51 126
>Joshua_Sokol: DEELMNX 14K ME.D +31 194
#note I'm well in the driver's seat at this point, however giving Orry AV(O)ID seems to have made my lead perhaps 30 points smaller than it would have been after U(R)BIA. I didn't like (S)EX here (I usually don't), because it did throw an E out there that would be hard to block later on. However it has many benefits for my own rack. Still, this is way more my style.
>Orry_Swift: IQS K5 QIS +33 159
#note hm, scored as 31. I wanted to have a perfect scoring record at Nationals, whether it be my plays or my opponents'. Ugh, Orry, why you gotta do me like this.
>Joshua_Sokol: EFHLLNX 11D FELL. +16 210
#note It didn't occur to me that when Orry spoke of playing (FELLA)H(I)N post-mortem instead of YEH later on, that I actually had this word for 56 friggin points. I totally crashed and burned here, unable to find any decent plays. I also didn't know FELLAHIN though
>Orry_Swift: EHY 12C YEH +33 192
>Joshua_Sokol: AHINOVX 14F VA.N +17 227
#note Orry was never close to a bingo, so I really dropped around 70 potential points blocking needlessly. 13B NOH is fine. Or L3 VAIN.
>Orry_Swift: EKN 13B KEN +30 222
>Joshua_Sokol: EHIINOX 8M .IX +30 257
#note don't panic. However XI at 14A should have been a consideration of mine. Only 1 I and two U's left.
>Orry_Swift: GLTU 5D GLUT +16 238
>Joshua_Sokol: EHINOOO 10J .HO.OI +11 268
#note D2 NOO(G)IE
>Orry_Swift: ?WZ 14A WiZ +53 291
>Joshua_Sokol: DENOTTU D2 TON.UED +22 290
#note I also missed (FELLA)T(I)O. I didn't like my chances if I didn't draw a blank. This sims best.
>Orry_Swift: FO 15A OF +39 330
>Joshua_Sokol: ACEINOT 2D .ACONITE +68 358
#note ok, hold on tight
>Orry_Swift: AEMRRRS 1I MARRERS +88 418
>Joshua_Sokol: AAENOPS - +0 358
#note this was my only move. I had hoped he didn't have MARRERS, as that was the most likely thing in the pool, or that at least MARRERS was not a word. Ugh.
>Orry_Swift: ?R 3I Re +10 428
