>BJ: ABEEELS 8B SEEABLE +70 70
>BJ: DGMNORY (challenge) +5 75
#note Wasn't 100% sure of it but it was worth a shot.
>Jeremy_Hildebrand: CEGIIP C8 .PIGEIC +30 30
>BJ: DGMNORY 10B M.NGY +25 100
#note Chickened out on MIDGY, but it's good. Didn't see E5 ORGANDY for 48.
>Jeremy_Hildebrand: OOPV D4 POOV. +20 50
>BJ: AADLORT E2 LOAD +20 120
#note Missed CARTLOAD.
>Jeremy_Hildebrand: ATTU E10 .UTTA +12 62
#note This seems like a risky placement on Jeremy's part. Maybe he was taking a chance that I didn't know GUTTAE. (GUTTAS is also good in Collins.)
>BJ: AAERRST 15E ERRATAS +78 198
#note Took me a while of staring to see ERRATAS. Gotta start alphagramming I guess. :) A few 8s and a 9 (AERODARTS) were possible too.
>Jeremy_Hildebrand: BIL 14H LIB +25 87
>BJ: FHINNWW 12B W.F. +20 218
#note I saw WHEFT but chickened out on it.
>Jeremy_Hildebrand: AY 11A YA. +15 102
>BJ: DHINNTW 6B WH. +17 235
#note Nothing stellar here, but maybe I should've started clogging the board up more, such as with F1 WIND.
>Jeremy_Hildebrand: ?EINOST 13H aTONIES +75 177
>BJ: DEINNQT L12 Q.N +24 259
>Jeremy_Hildebrand: AX F5 AX +29 206
>BJ: DEEIMNT 4D ..M +19 278
#note Didn't know DEMENTI.
>Jeremy_Hildebrand: ?EIORUV N6 gRIEVOU. +68 274
>BJ: DEEINTZ 8L ZE.N +69 347
#note Jeremy told me he partly decided on GRIEVOUS in that spot because he thought I had a bingo-prone rack, and he was right. I drew the Z after my fish.
>Jeremy_Hildebrand: ACHN 6J CHAN. +15 289
#note Very clever setup by Jeremy. If I play down from the triple to make CHANGE, I open up lanes.
>BJ: DEIOORT 7L DE.O +25 372
>BJ: FIORRTU (challenge) +5 377
#note OROIDE, TRIODE, and TOORIE go at O1, but I opt for the blocking play so as not to open more lanes. I was pleased with myself about it. He challenged. (Underscored the play by 2.)
>Jeremy_Hildebrand: DE 9K DE +17 306
>BJ: FIORRTU H7 F.U +6 383
#note Spent a long time on this turn. I wanted to block the better of the two lanes, column H, and dump as many tiles as I could. Unfortunately DE blocked FOUR, which I was hoping to play. With a J and K out there, I figured either lane would be a tough bingo, but the L even more so. Got frustrated not finding anything better than FEU, so finally went with that. Quackle suggests M1 ROUTI(NEE)R for 26, which of course I don't know but I guess the reasoning is maybe I can outrun his bingo. Still, giving him more lanes doesn't seem prudent.
>Jeremy_Hildebrand: EGIJNST 2A JING.ETS +86 392
>Jeremy_Hildebrand: ADEILOU (challenge) +5 397
#note He finds the cool bingo! Darn. I look at the dreck on my rack and I'm pretty deflated.
>BJ: IIORRRT 1F RIOT +22 405
#note Champ says I can't win, and I agree, though at the time I thought if he didn't have the A and I was lucky enough to get it, maybe I had a slight chance. Couldn't find a good play to ditch two Rs and score a few points.
>Jeremy_Hildebrand: ADEILOU A1 A.I +30 427
#note My hopes are dashed. EJIDO was even better.
>BJ: IKRR J9 IRK +13 418
>Jeremy_Hildebrand: DELOU 11H DU.E +18 445
>BJ: R 12N .R +3 421
>BJ: (OL) +4 425
#note I'm pretty bummed out because I thought I played this one really well, strategically. But happy for Jeremy for finding the cool bingo.
