>Avery: GHIILOU H8 LOUGH +26 26
#note Gotta save the craziest game for last, right?
>Joey_Mallick: AKQRRSU 13H SQUARK +68 68
>Avery: AADEIIM L8 MIDAI. +24 50
#note Don't want to deal with the MADEIRAS hook later on.
>Joey_Mallick: EEIRUVW G6 VIEW +26 94
>Avery: ADEEFNX K7 FAXED +54 104
>Joey_Mallick: EEIMRUW 6G .IEW +18 112
#note Take two.
>Avery: AEFGNRZ 5H GRAZE +40 144
#note Wasn't a big fan of 8K AMAZE due to the consonant heavy leave - wanted to be able to keep scoring. This does give back a lot of points with almost any rack he has though. For some reason, FAZE never occurred to me - I think that's a better play.
>Joey_Mallick: EEMPRTU M5 RUMP +34 146
>Avery: EFNOORY 4L OF +26 170
#note Maybe FOY is fine.
>Joey_Mallick: ?AEENTT 3F NEATEsT +61 207
#note The higher scoring bingos needlessly open the triple-triple.
>Avery: ENORTTY 8J T...ON +30 200
>Joey_Mallick: EEHJOPS N10 JOES +47 254
#note JOSEPH is a dream word of mine, but unfortunately it didn't score enough to be worth playing.
>Avery: AEILRTY F9 TEARILY +70 270
#note Sacrificing a whole 15 points to not give back a huge scoring spot at 1H.
>Joey_Mallick: ACEEHLP 15A PEACH. +57 311
#note He would have the 1H spot all to himself because I would get ACALEPHE.
>Avery: BBCEINO E11 BOB +28 298
>Joey_Mallick: AEGLLNR 4A LANGREL +72 383
>Avery: ?CEEINS A1 dEC.INES +131 429
#note That was a very lucky draw
>Joey_Mallick: DOORTUV B8 OUTDROV. +80 463
#note A: This scared the crap out of me since I hadn't looked at my tiles yet, and I was behind on tracking...
J: My thinking was that even if he triple-tripled here, I could deal with it as long as my bingo still fit.
>Avery: ANNOSTY N2 ANTS +31 460
#note Certainly a bit of relief going into the endgame though. 2H NAY is 3 points better.
>Joey_Mallick: DIII 2I ID +16 479
#note This was like a classic movie that had an ending that nobody liked. Well, at least I didn't like it much. And there wasn't even a prize for high loss. Waah.
>Avery: NOY D10 YON +23 483
#note Crazy game to end the tournament! Definitely felt like I played well overall but there's still work to be done to keep improving. I thought board vision was my weakness this tournament in addition not being able to find the proper play in a number of cases. A very reassuring start going into a new playing year, though.
>Avery: (II) +4 487
