>Tasha_: AEOTUYY 7H YAY +24 24
>Jonathan_Lindh: C I6 C.. +6 14
>Tasha_: EEGHOTU 9J UGH +13 37
#note Apparently I think 24 +13 is Goddamn 47.
>Jonathan_Lindh: DOSU 8L OUDS +24 38
>Tasha_: EEGOOOT N5 GEO.E +9 46
#note Because of his last two plays (fishing off a C and burning an extra S with OUDS) I want to come up with something annoying. I saw GOOSE right after hitting my clock. But honestly, I forgot about the S hook to CAD. I think I play OGEE if I remember CAD takes an S.
>Jonathan_Lindh: M M7 M. +14 52
#note Heh, I hoped I blocked a bingo.
>Tasha_: OOOORTU 10J ROO +23 69

>Jonathan_Lindh: ANV 5B VAN +13 188
>Tasha_: AEEHINR 3K A.I +20 176
#note I considered making a short play on row 7 (EH mostly), but I want to keep the board tighter. Patience is a virture and I'm not that far behind.
>Jonathan_Lindh: EMW 9F MEW +18 206
>Tasha_: AEEHNRT 10A HEARTEN +72 248
#note I noticed the YOURN hook immediately after playing ROO, but forgot about it. I remembered it right after hitting my clock. Probably a game-losing mistale.
>Jonathan_Lindh: EENRRTV B7 REV.RENT +72 278
#note Uh oh. He bingoed blankless. I'm in trouble.

>Tasha_: CEEELNQ -EELQ +0 286
>Jonathan_Lindh: ??DGNST 1D DiNG.aTS +62 369
#note What an appropriate bingo. I approve.
>Tasha_: ACEIKNS 12A ..ACENIKS +94 380
>Jonathan_Lindh: BEEIIIL H12 .EEL +24 393
#note Jonathan holds PEACENIKS for a bit and after a few minutes declares "I accept!" He has a laugh in his voice when he says it so I know the Q is in the bag and I start giggling when I draw it. For some reason, I was convinced that if he challenged he would lose the game after getting Q-stuck. When I was explaing the end of this game to Joe Edley, he asks me a series of questions:
Joe: Was there a place to play the Q?
Me: Nope!
Joe: Did he block the only place to play the Q after he accepted the bingo?
Me: Nope! There wasn't a place to play it to begin with.
Joe: Was the Q the last tile in the bag?
Me: Yup!
Joe: Then you would have lost even if he challenged!
Me: Yu - wait a second....
After thinking about it for a bit, I realized Joe was right. He looked way too amused once the lightning hit so he now probably thinks I'm the blondest player to have sat at a Scrabble board. Then again, he was probably already thinking that from last year.
