>Ben_Schoenbrun: ABH 8G BAH +16 16
>Matt_Canik: DEIRSWY I7 W.Y +20 20
#note Sims really solidly - keeps stuff closed except for my S. YWIS is 37 but sims down 9(!) points.
>Ben_Schoenbrun: ENPRSTU 10F PUNSTER +80 96
#note welp that didnt work
>Matt_Canik: DEGIIRS K5 SEDGI.R +36 56
#note and I missed my bingo too! Ugh scrabble you suck.
Do I fish here with (R)IG for 8? or just dub-dub for 36? Sim is close....
>Ben_Schoenbrun: GIOT 8K .IGOT +24 120
>Matt_Canik: AIIJLOV 11C JIAO +26 82
#note I think it's worth forgoing the 3 extra points at J2 to instead keep that S open at the top
>Ben_Schoenbrun: AAEGP J3 AGAPE +33 153
#note Maybe I should have taken the extra three points
>Matt_Canik: EEILSUV C11 .UVIE +30 112
>Ben_Schoenbrun: ENY 15A EY.N +24 177
>Matt_Canik: ?AELOSZ N6 ZO.gLEAS +88 200
#note It really feels like I should be scoring a lot more with this rack, but only ZOOGLEAS and OxAZOLES play here
>Ben_Schoenbrun: AANN M11 NAAN +16 193
>Matt_Canik: ELLRTTW 3I W.LLET +26 226
>Ben_Schoenbrun: BDENU D7 BEDU.N +24 217
>Matt_Canik: DEERRRT 8A ERR.D +18 244
#note This was a really tricky turn. In the end, I decided I wanted the extra lines that ERR(E)D opened because I don't have the S or the blank for the NAANS spot, so I'm best off with several lines open instead of just the one. I still like my decision in hindsight, especially because...
>Ben_Schoenbrun: ?CIILOT 15G COLITIs +81 298
>Matt_Canik: EEFRRTU E3 TURFE. +24 268
#note Really just unsure what to do here, but I wanted to turn over a ton of tiles to try and draw the Q or the X for the 14 row. REFUTE(D) scores 2 more and turns over one more but there's only one E unseen so I'd rather hold mine
>Ben_Schoenbrun: AFMO D1 FOAM +36 334
>Matt_Canik: AEIIORS 14J OI +10 278
#note well this is NOT what I was expecting to draw, lol. there are only 4 vowels left unseen now, but the Q and the X are still unseen and EX, XI, and QI are all instant losses for me unless I can 3x3. I feel like I should block those and try to make him bingo out to catch him with something.
>Ben_Schoenbrun: M 14B M. +22 356
#note Whoa!!! So Bnjy is trying to dodge the Q here. Interesting....
>Matt_Canik: ADEHIRS 2M HE +19 297
#note So now I have absolutely no clue what to do. I can try to bingo, but there are a LOT of dud tiles in the pool (Q, X, and maybe K and V) so it's gotta be a one tile fish... or maybe two. I can try to pull into QAID C3 for a ton of points. I can try to triple-triple (or even be sneaky and set up a nonbingo triple triple draw with something like EDH C1, though I don't really see any good draws). Or I can hope Bnjy has a horrible rack and cash in DISH or RESH right now at O1. RESH draws QAID almost all the time, but QAID gets blocked almost all the time. I wanted to find a play that holds FAQIR, too, but I didn't put together that EDH at C1 will hold AIRS and give me FAQIRS almost all the time while also giving Bnjy a tough one-in-the-bag endgame when he's low on time. But even then, stuff like VEX F2 crushed FAQIR/FAQIRS and I lose.

Ultimately, I picked this so I had FAQIRS and QAIDS but I just can't see this leading to a win unless I miss the Q, he blocks QAIDS, and I bingo instead.
Jeez, I still have no idea what to do here.
>Ben_Schoenbrun: V N1 V.. +6 362
>Matt_Canik: ADIKRSX C3 RAX +31 328
#note Apparently the play here is C2 SKA, which blocks Q(AT) and wins perfect endgames by two if I draw either of the Os or one other tile. I'm running low on time here and see that I can block QAT and hold SKID, which looks solid but will probably fall just short
>Ben_Schoenbrun: CINOOQT 1A COI. +27 389
#note QUIZ TIME:
I cannot win if Bnjy plays this endgame optimally, but Bnjy is incredibly low on time (0:15 or so). With that knowledge... can you find a smart sequence for me after this?
>Matt_Canik: DEIKS O12 SKID +41 369
>Ben_Schoenbrun: NOQT 4M NOT +17 406
>Matt_Canik: E 5B E. +9 378
#note If I had played E(X) first and Bnjy responded with NOT (as he would probably do), he has no block if I play KI O13, then S(KI) O12, then (SKI)D O12 out to win the game by three points!!!!!! Ngh I wish I was smarter.

Fun game, bnjy.
