#player1 Jim_Burlant Jim Burlant
#player2 Frank_Tangredi Frank Tangredi
>Jim_Burlant: AFGORTZ 8G ZAG +26 26
#note Lots of options but I was obviously still in whatever stupor I was when I had played Tasha Asberry. Best is apparently to play FORGAT for 28 and keep the Z. Regardless of what I played here, it wouldn't have mattered:
>Frank_Tangredi: ?GINOSU H8 .rOUSING +77 77
>Jim_Burlant: EFJORTX 12D FOXE. +30 56
#note Played this to set up the J for the next turn. I thought G12 plays like OX/EX had too much potential to gum up the board while I was already trailing.
>Frank_Tangredi: AELNNY 13H .NANELY +22 99
>Jim_Burlant: AEJORTV 11E JO +45 101
#note With nowhere for TOLARJEV, it's time to cash the J. This is best. 44% to win, but not for long.
>Frank_Tangredi: AADILRT L7 LARIAT.D +70 169
#note Only bingo, and Frank is 74% to win in a short sim.
>Jim_Burlant: AERTTTV 13C VAT +27 128
#note Drawning two more T's to AERTV while Frank is drawing 6 and 7 tiles into bingoes should tell you everything you need to know about how this game was going to continue going for me. This is clearly best, but it's bleak - 20% to win.
>Frank_Tangredi: DPRU 10F PR.UD +36 205
>Jim_Burlant: EEIORTT 14H .OTE. +16 144
#note The only 8 this rack makes is TENORITE, and it doesn't fit. I liked this because the leave was promising. However, Quackle indicates my best play was 14L DIET. DIET not only scores 6 more, but it plays off one of my I's. Since the pool still has 6 I's unseen, perhaps the duck has a point:
>Frank_Tangredi: EIINRTV 15A RIVETIN. +89 294
>Jim_Burlant: EIIIPRT G5 PRI.E. +21 165
#note Though a sim thinks K11 PINE for 22 is best, M2 PERITI scores 21 and clears out the I overload. If I knew PERITI, that would have been my choice. This scores but the IIT leave could get ugly quickly. REgardless, Quackle makes clear that no matter what I do, the game is already over except for the final score: PINE wins 0.65% and this play wins 0.46. Whatever.
>Frank_Tangredi: Q B14 Q. +22 316
>Jim_Burlant: BEGIITT 5E GI. +12 177
#note No clue - was blind to the board and just totally reeling by now. Best looks to be BINE or TINE K11 if I want to start balancing the rack.
>Frank_Tangredi: WY 11K W.Y +18 334
>Jim_Burlant: ABEIOTT 4A BIOTA +23 200
>Frank_Tangredi: ?DEINRS A4 .lINDERS +80 414
#note Thank goodness Frank chickened out on PREBINDS. Ugh.
>Jim_Burlant: AEEOSST H1 TOEAS +25 225
>Frank_Tangredi: FLU C3 F.UL +14 428
>Jim_Burlant: AEEHIOS 2B HAE +20 245
>Frank_Tangredi: BMMO 8K M.MBO +33 461
>Jim_Burlant: AEHIKOS 14N OE +14 259
>Frank_Tangredi: ACCLNRU D12 ..C. +9 470
>Jim_Burlant: DEEHIKS 15M EDH +43 302
>Frank_Tangredi: ACELRUW N4 CURA.LE +15 485
>Jim_Burlant: EIKNS 4K SNI.K +32 334
>Frank_Tangredi: W 3G W. +9 494
