>Tasha_Asberry: AEG 8G GAE +8 8
>Jim_Burlant: AEEEJLO 9F JOE +17 17
#note From this point on, if you want to see good Scrabble, skip the rest of this game. If you want a good laugh and want to see a game that makes you wonder how I ever rated above 1100, continue on. You've been warned.
>Tasha_Asberry: EIMNOPS J3 PEONISM +68 76
#note Best bingo is J4 IMPONES for 74.
>Jim_Burlant: ADEELRU F9 .EU +12 29
#note Ugh. Plumbing the depths of ineptitude, part 1. Missing AUREOLED on row 5. If you whiff on the bingo like I did, LEUD K4 is best. Nothing like vomiting up 18% winning chances because you suck.
>Tasha_Asberry: AKM I5 MAK. +32 108
>Jim_Burlant: ADELRTW K5 WAD +41 70
#note At least I get this right. It's either this or WARTED K2 for 47. Still digging myself a hole at 26% to win.
>Tasha_Asberry: AAGV 11E G.AVA +18 126
>Jim_Burlant: AELRTWY 12I WALY +25 95
#note Plumbing the depths of ineptitude, part 2. I was so irritated at dumping the W and getting WY back that all I saw was WATERLY*, and it was right after the game ended that I realized I had whiffed on TRAWLEY. (I hadn't even noticed the AUREOLED whiff yet). Winning chances inching upward to 29%. From this point on, I can't win the game. And here's the thing: my level of play only goes downhill from here.
>Tasha_Asberry: EGI 13G GIE +14 140
>Jim_Burlant: EHNRRTU L2 TURN +17 112
#note I had more or less the right idea here, but the duck thinks I should hold the T and play URN L3. Whatever.
>Tasha_Asberry: U 9J .U +4 144
>Jim_Burlant: DEHIRRT 14I DITHER +32 144
#note Wow, I got one play right in a row! It's this or 14F HIDER. Up to 37% to win.
>Tasha_Asberry: ACES O12 CASE +38 182
>Jim_Burlant: HLORRRX 12D LOX +41 185
#note The leave is utterly horrendous, but nothing else scores more than 20 while I still have 41 points for this. I have to take 41 and hope for a dump on the next turn.
>Tasha_Asberry: IV L10 IV. +9 191
>Jim_Burlant: HPRRRST -RRRT +0 185
#note Plumbing the depths of ineptitude, part 3. The best plays here are admittedly somewhat hard to find: SHIRT/SHIRR 10J score 31. I never saw them at any time. Row 10 didn't register as being open, and the only thing I saw was HIP/HAP/HEP/HOP as possibilities at M1. I was exchanging 4 trying to draw any vowel. This is where it gets comical. Obviously, I need to look at the whole board and find the plays.
>Tasha_Asberry: BIT 13C BIT +16 207
>Jim_Burlant: CDHNPST -CDNT +0 185
#note Plumbing the depths of ineptitude, part 4. Still totally blind to the board and suffering from tunnel vision looking for HIP M1.
>Tasha_Asberry: DIT M1 DIT +14 221
>Jim_Burlant: HNPRRST -RRNT +0 185
#note Plumbing the depths of ineptitude, part 5. Still totally board-blind and still unable to land a vowel.
>Tasha_Asberry: ?ACEILO N2 CELOsIA +79 300
>Jim_Burlant: DHLRSTZ M13 Z.D +26 211
#note Plumbing the depths of ineptitude, part 6. Yeah, you could say I was frazzled by the lack of vowels at this point. Obviously TZAR/DHAL on row 8.
>Tasha_Asberry: Q 7M Q. +21 321
>Jim_Burlant: HILRSST O7 SHIT +48 259
#note Wow, I got a play right!
#note Annotation stops here. Long story short, after grinding through 4 more racks (given how I played this one, I probably missed another bingo I wasn't aware of at the time, either) I manufacture a final rack of BILORS?, and I am so out of it that I whiff on a too-little-too-late spread saving out bingo of BRIStOL/StROBIL that would have lost by roughly 25. Final score 313 - 412, Tasha's win. I have to go back several years to find a game I played THIS badly.
