>Becky: AEGINOR -AO +0 0
>Will: CEIOPRS 8D COPIERS +78 78
>Becky: EEGINRZ H8 .NERGIZE +110 110
>Will: EEEIINS I7 I.E +8 86
#note Tough call here. Saw ESERINE, EZINE#, GENIE, etc., but took the all-or-nothing approach with such an incredibly open board. Quackle favors IRE.
>Becky: HLMO 6F HOLM +23 133
>Will: EEEINOS I14 OE +15 101
#note Hmm. Spaced on HOLME somehow. Fishes there are an extra point and far, far better positionally.
>Becky: AEINX J10 XENIA +44 177
>Will: EEHINSU K9 HUE +25 126
>Becky: Q 13G Q. +21 198
>Will: BDEINNS 7E NIB +26 152
#note Not loving the way this is unfolding, but what else?
>Becky: IIIIU -IIIIU +0 198
>Will: ADEENST L3 STANDEE +73 225
>Becky: CGR 5J CR.G +14 212
>Will: ADGNORW M9 WARDOG +43 268
#note I actually saw AWRONG#, but keeping the N after WARDOG# could be huge to play with HEWN - something like VEINY in that spot is pretty devastating, and even just NY# is pretty great.
>Becky: DOS 15M SOD +24 236
>Will: ?EFKLNO 3H FOLK.mEN +80 348
#note OK, this is pretty funny. At first, I was completely sure that MENFOLKS was the only word in this, having laughed at it years ago learning TWL. But for some reason I convinced myself that this was good. Becky held but gave me too much credit, luckily for me.
>Becky: ?AFLSTY 4B FALSiTY +94 330
#note This would still play after MENFOLKS
>Will: AILMPTW O1 WA.T +24 372
#note This is inexplicable, since I distinctly remember thinking about wanting to play AWFY#...or maybe I was thinking about AFFY# before FALSITY was played? Even if I miss that, I gotta see PWN# here. Scores the same, keeps much more balanced leave. If I'm worried about duplicating As or Is, PANIM# is a decent idea as well.
>Becky: ABDE N10 BEAD +31 361
>Will: AILMPUV O6 MULVA +35 407
#note I played this honestly believing it was good. Then, when Becky held, I realized I had confused it with MURVA#/URVA#, by way of ULVA. Once again I lucked out that Becky had the mistaken belief that I know words well.
>Becky: JU N2 J.U +40 401
>Will: AIIOPRT D8 .OPITA +20 427
#note Once again, with clock running down and needing to budget a couple of minutes for endgame, I couldn't quite suss this situation out. COPITA is an ok play to at least prevent some nightmare bingo scenarios from the C of COPIERS and to the E and R of ENERGIZE, but the IR leave plays poorly in the endgame. Becky's play of JEU doesn't tell me too much, so I'm not sure how to use that to help me. CP believes 3A IOTA is the winningest play - it scores decently, leaves the much nicer looking IPR combo, and doesn't empty the bag.
>Becky: NORTTVY C3 N.TTY +24 425
#note One of just three wins and only one point off the top sequence - very nice.
>Will: AEIIIRU C11 AUE +14 441
#note Two off of plays hooking HOLME, which still lose. Painful to draw AEIIU, but I missed plenty of other stuff in this game and was lucky to not have my phonies challenged.
>Becky: ORV B9 VOR +11 436
>Becky: (IIIR) +8 444
