#player2 Jackson_Smylie Jackson Smylie
>Matt_Canik: AFIMUWW H7 WAW +18 18
>Jackson_Smylie: AELNQRT 8G Q.T +12 12
#note Jackson said he liked the shape of the board a lot more after Q(A)T for 12 instead of QAT for 21, and a quick sim backs that up.
>Matt_Canik: DFIMNSU J4 NUDISM +26 44
#note Q likes FUDS J5 by about a percentage point, with (W)UD for 11 as the only other play that makes a lot of sense. Jackson played Q(A)T fairly quickly, within about 20 seconds, which makes me think he's either bingo prone or holding a hook that plays on the board (as it turns out, he's both)
>Jackson_Smylie: AELNOPR K5 PO +19 31
>Matt_Canik: AEFHSTU I4 UH +15 59
#note Strange decision for me here: with Jackson likely bingo-prone, I can either try and do something about the L column bingos or try and respond to his bingo. I still have him pegged on a playable hook (probably an S), so sacrificing lots of equity to knock out the L row just doesn't make much sense. I decided to play UH to potentially cash in a 40-point play from H1 while also holding well enough to maybe bingo next turn.

FAH at I3 is basically a stronger version of what I did, though - it scores 8 more and actually bingos more often into ESTU than UH does into AEFST.
>Jackson_Smylie: AEILLNR L6 RALLINE +70 101
>Matt_Canik: AEFMSTU M10 FUMET +31 90
#note Obvious S telegraph is obvious
>Jackson_Smylie: IILOORS N12 OLIO +19 120
>Matt_Canik: AINOSTY H1 AYIN +28 118
#note One of my key weaknesses right now is I'm overly fish-averse. There is nothing wrong with playing M7 YO for 20 holding AINST and drawing into a pool that contains 10 unseen Es, especially if I'm only giving up 8 points to do so.

On average, Jackson scores 4 fewer points after AYIN because I'm taking a really hot spot away, but I score 13 more after YO because Q says I bingo 58% instead of the 30% after AYIN.
>Jackson_Smylie: EEIORSU 8L .IEU +12 132
>Matt_Canik: ?IORSTT 10B TRIcOTS +70 188
#note Looks like I nailed that 30% bingo chance though. Luckbox!

This should probably be TRItONS instead - it gives Jackson one less unique letter to bingo through and it's a little easier to block all bingo opportunities, as TRIcOTS won't let me play a big underlap in the 11 row
>Jackson_Smylie: EEOORRS M4 ROE +8 140
>Matt_Canik: EEGPRVX O14 EX +57 245
>Jackson_Smylie: BDEORST D5 DEORB.TS +74 214
>Matt_Canik: AEEGPRV E2 PAVER +28 273
#note Trying to obscure a bunch of bingo lines (C and E columns, and partially the 1 and 2 rows) while not squandering too much equity. If I want to ride the equity train, VEGA L1 is the play.
>Jackson_Smylie: EFIOOVZ L1 FIVE +32 246
>Matt_Canik: AACEEGH 8A CHA.E +30 303
>Jackson_Smylie: BGIOOYZ 2B GOO.Y +38 284
>Matt_Canik: ?AAAEGJ 1A JAG +39 342
>Jackson_Smylie: BDDILSZ 3G B.D +20 304
>Matt_Canik: ?AAAEGN 1L .ANG +24 366
#note Not worried about holding AAE? here because of the amount of unseen consonants, but I am worried about ZE(I)NS so I should block that
>Jackson_Smylie: DIILSTZ K12 DITZ +21 325
>Matt_Canik: ?AAEKNR 2J Ko.NE +42 408
#note KAN(Z)u or KwAN(Z)A are clearly the top plays here, but I knew Ko(I)NE would outrun Jackson if he does randomly find a disconnected 9 or there's a playable bingo in CEEILNSS or CEEILNSU that I didn't see. zAN(Z)A would have been a fun play!
>Jackson_Smylie: CEEILNS O6 LE.CINS +19 344
>Matt_Canik: AAR B6 AR.A. +10 418
>Matt_Canik: (E) +2 420
