>Josh: ADIOOPV H4 VAPID +30 30
#note saw AVOID but missed OVOID. I didn't really get how bad OO was here, as I thought this was slightly better than 22 points and a better leave. OO is already around 10 points worse than AP or OP, and positionally OVOID is better than AVOID. I had some ideas of not creating any hooks and staircasing, however they are likely not worth the equity sacrifice here.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AEV 6H .AVE +17 17
>Josh: DGINOOU 4H .ODOU +18 48
#note Saw L3 GUIDON but enjoyed the ING here and the board constriction, as well as setting up my N I guess. He's going straight for a bingo here and I would like to be able to respond better and create worse spots for him to strike
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: EENY M2 EYNE +24 41
>Josh: EEGGINR J4 .E.ERGING +67 115
#note I was unsure of GINGERE(D) and completely missed RENIGGE(D), but very luckily for me I gave Matt a spot to bingo and he wasn't 100% sure this was phony. After a successful challenge the game is very complicated, since he can't give me a spot for GREEING and would like to block the D in case I see one of the two 8s there. He would likely want to play 8H (D)UI for 4 keeping AIRT?, which probably puts him at around 60-65% to win given his likelihood to bingo versus mine, and the fact that he will almost definintely strike first.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ?AIIRTU 11G URA.ITIc +64 105
#note RAI(N)sUIT to create an S-hook? Matt didn't think it was worth the risk here, the board is fine for a comeback.
>Josh: BEEIRTT 8A BITTERE. +86 201
#note I was going to play another phony, BIRETTE*, if BITTERE(D) was blocked.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: DEEIOSS N8 DIO.ESES +70 175
#note no luck in him trying EIDOSES*, which I have gotten away with in the past.
>Josh: AGILQST 8L QA.I +72 273
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: FLLOW E7 F.LLOW +24 199
>Josh: CEGHLST B6 GL.TCHES +74 347
#note 300 in 4 turns, I have definitely made my own situational luck this game.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: IJM 15L JI.M +63 262
>Josh: AAINOOU L8 .UO.A +28 375
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: HLM K3 M.H.L +32 294
>Josh: AAINNOW A12 WAIN +44 419
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: AFNNOPR 2L F.RN +14 308
>Josh: AADENOU 1H ANODE +27 446
#note didn't really look at the pool, totally auto-piloted here. Obviously he's consonant-heavy but didn't realize there were only 4 vowels left. H10 A(R)OUND, which I didn't even see, is much better for spread.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: BCK G10 B.CK +17 325
>Josh: AANORUZ 14E AZON +46 492
#note see now I'm kind of toast, I have no good Z setups and much of his stuff will fit in two spots. Perhaps 2F ZOA is slightly better on spread but I had a feeling it didn't matter.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: ?ORSTTX 2B eXTORTS +82 407
#note 1 fewer with BUCKO, so AZON saved me 13 spread points.
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: (AEPRUY) +22 429
#note ANODE was really a poor play and definitely cost me a lot of spread. I had 19 minutes to his 4 minutes, ample time to realize there was no need to play on row 1.
