#note My choices here were DARN and DANG. Ended up deciding on this and I'm not really sure why. It seems fine. But I don't have a strong reason for preferring one of the two.

#note Caught a big break here.

#note This was interesting. I thought about doing PREZ, because it saved KIVA, set up possibilities like HORA (I'm actually not seeing much else there now -- HOMA I guess), and didn't open an annoying S hook. There are a bunch of annoying S hooks already, but no places to end with S. I think I like this, but it makes me uneasy.

>Noah: BENORTZ E9 BORTZ +40 208
#note Interesting play. I considered BONZE(R), both places for BORTZ, and BOZO. BEFOG K5 and LOB K3 are also available, though I can't see a good reason to keep NERTZ here. BORTZ seemed ot have the worst leave of the choices that kept the Z here, because of the vowel-heavy, E-heavy pool. I was drawn to it because it seemed to give back fewer bingo opportunities than other plays. BONZE gave him potentially lucrative plays back, but would often work out really well if he didn't have a hook. It also gave a Z to play through, which I suppose balances things a bit. In fact, that balancing factor makes me like BRONZE more. I also realized BOZO was really strong with the vowel heavy pool. I was a little worried about him talking out my plays by hooking DIP in an awkward way. This is needlessly paranoid -- I don't think that happening is actually all too likely. BEFOG is also pretty strong here, because of all the vowels left, but I don't know that NRTZ will actually work out that well a lot of the time. It doesn't make too many 7s. I think on a do-over, I'd play BOZO, maybe BONZE. Sim likes BONZE, though I didn't do many iterations.

#note Weird turn. I considered GHEE, ETHYNE, HEY. I saw ELUTE but it seemed ridiculous to give up that spot. URETER looks better than ELUTE. ETHYNE seems pretty bad with all the esses out. I didn't love this because EHNTU seemed a fair bit worse than the pool, and not particularly great with the letters I might draw. I think I would play URETER on a redo.

#note Hm, don't really know here. This looks kind of bad. GENUA doesn't give nearly as much back, and keeps better. NTU just doesn't look that great here. I don't really like HE. TEEING maybe? Leaning toward GENUA as best here.
