>Jim_Burlant: CDDEELN 8G LEND +10 10
#note Context: Round 15. I'm 1-5 on the day, though I haven't hemorrhaged spread. Between a combination of iffy play on my end, an unending string of highly placed opponents even though I have consistently lost most of the day, and late day fatigue, I'm starting to come undone. I'm not quite on full tilt yet, but the seeds are getting planted. To give you an idea of how poorly I'm playing - I never saw CEDED. Seriously!
>Harry_Durbin: LOOP 9H LOOP +15 15
>Jim_Burlant: ACDEEIW 10J WIDE +35 45
#note Or WAE in the same location.
>Harry_Durbin: GOX 11K GOX +46 61
#note <>
>Jim_Burlant: AACERWZ N8 CAR +18 63
#note No clue what to do with this. I had previously planned on playing WAREZ somewhere and I just was dumbfounded because, for the umpteenth time in recent memory, on an early rack I would unload a junky tile and get the same thing back the next turn. The choice should have been obvious: AWL G6 to both unload the W and set up REZ on the next turn. This is putrid.
>Harry_Durbin: GR 9M R.G +16 77
>Jim_Burlant: AEERTWZ L10 ..ZER +30 93
#note I couldn't decided which was right: DOZE L10 giving back D, N, R, and S hooks? Or the S hook? I opted for the S hook, figuring that if he didn't have an S, I'd dare him to play through - if he could.
>Harry_Durbin: ?AEIQRU 14H QUAR.IEs +86 163
#note Thank goodness he didn't know H7 RELIQUIAE for 104!
>Jim_Burlant: AEGILTW 15G WIT +53 146
#note Q says I should play WAIT for 3 more. I'm fine with this. 32% to win.
>Harry_Durbin: HOT O12 HO.T +30 193
>Jim_Burlant: AEEEGJL N12 AJ.E +27 173
#note Wow, I finally get one right. But I've blundered my way to 29% winning chances.
>Harry_Durbin: AMT 10F TAM +12 205
#note Thank goodness he didn't play this on row 7. I'd have really flipped out and lost it.
>Jim_Burlant: AEEGLSV 7A SELVAGE +66 239
#note Only bingo. 54% to win in a short sim.
>Harry_Durbin: OU A7 .OU +9 214
>Jim_Burlant: CEENORS 11A ENCORES +72 311
#note Yes, I saw the D column bingoes (CONSERVE/CONVERSE) but didn't like them. With a blank out I saw no reason to give 1230-rated Harry a lifeline. 93% to win.
>Harry_Durbin: AAAEISY 6B YA +28 242
>Jim_Burlant: ?DEIKMS 5C SKImMED +79 390
#note Best bingo is 5A MEDIcKS for 86. Nonetheless, this is all over except the final score.
>Harry_Durbin: IO D3 OI. +14 256
>Jim_Burlant: AAILPVY H1 ALIV. +36 426
>Harry_Durbin: AINS 4H .INAS +19 275
>Jim_Burlant: ABDFPUY 3K DAUB +19 445
#note Saving the Y to hook on the next turn since I know he can't do much to stop it.
>Harry_Durbin: EFINNNT - +0 275
#note Annotation stops here. I create an out in two and score well using my Y to make DAUBY while I'm at it. Final score 521 - 312 my win.
>Jim_Burlant: EFNOPRY O1 FRY +38 483
>Harry_Durbin: FH D10 F.H +18 293
>Jim_Burlant: EINNOP 13B PINONE +28 511
