>Lipey: EELOSTT 8D TELEOST +66 66
#note Spent about three minutes trying to decide between ET, TO, and TOE, and as I picked up my tiles to make the play, saw the bingo. The bingo is best, btw.
>Chris_T: HHS 9G SHH +31 31
#note I'm huntin' wabbits
>Lipey: AABGIIO 7G OBIA +29 95
>Chris_T: DEENRW E5 REN.WED +44 75
>Lipey: ADGINOX F10 XI +53 148
#note I get furious when an opponent hits a stupid early-game X-bomb after a play like RENEWED. To his credit. Chris didn't give me the finger after this play.
>Chris_T: CFILT 6J CLIFT +29 104
>Lipey: ADGINOO D8 .OD +20 168
#note Quackle likes ADO, although I feel TOD is standard. If you're playing short you want to maximise your own bingo changes. ADO seems to reduce opp bingo changes by more than it reduces your own, however. Maybe AGINO isn't strong enough to be pushing more entropy chips into the pot.
>Chris_T: BZ 6D B.Z +34 138
>Lipey: AAGILNO M3 GOL.IANA +78 246
#note Sweet vindication!
>Chris_T: EEGIMRS N9 EMIGRES +94 232
>Lipey: DKMRTUV 15L MU.K +39 285
#note Spent a while on this before decided that MUSK is actually forced, both by topscoring and positonally.
>Chris_T: PQU 4K QU.P +30 262
>Lipey: DEGORTV O7 VOTED +38 323
>Chris_T: ?ADIRTW 13G TAWDRIe. +82 344
>Lipey: ?AACFGR H11 AF.RA +36 359
#note Happy to see the bunny, even more so after the first one hopped away. This is the only play that cashes the H12 square; took a while to decide this was it. Even with a close game and bunny in hand it's not all beer and skittles from here; CG is a pretty angry combination.
>Chris_T: ASUY O1 AYUS +41 385
#note Lost the race to the case mouse. Better hope the bunny comes through for me.
>Lipey: ?CGLORV D3 GLO. +16 375
#note Gotta start cleaning up the antisynergy and developing space. Would love to play LOB and make a bigger threat in the upper left quadrant but CGV is going nowhere. CV isn't great but after GLOB maybe I can hit an A for a C column play developing B column, or something like that to create a new threat besides for 14/15 (which won't be around forever)
>Chris_T: EEJ F3 JEE. +23 408
#note Glad the hook didn't catch at N1 JO or JA
>Lipey: ?CORRTV G2 VOR +19 394
#note Thought about VOW here, but there's too much time left in the game and too many A's unseen. VOR is probably better than VROT because a) with so many vowels unseen, keeping case T in the leave makes it much better and b) if I open row 1 and do draw bullsh from the bag like NNN or IUY, a big play up top could end me -- the game is still close! VOR dictates a row 14/15 response, which leaves me to play COW and hope I hit something unblockable or a miracle draw into 1H, but taking three from a pool that's mostly AEIN while holding CRT?, I like where this is going ...
>Chris_T: AEY 14F YA.E +22 430
#note As expected
>Lipey: ?CIOPRT 9C C.. +11 405
#note Sim likes 3B CIG or PIG, but COW is very strong and according to the mallard puts me as a fave to launch the confetti cannon ...
>Chris_T: AEIINNU C2 NAE +14 444
#note Quackle is surprisingly useless in this position. I think given my rack he's drawing dead but I'm not sure.
>Lipey: ?INOPRT B1 PORTIoN +77 482
#note That moment you lose your mind and think "what if porting isn't a word?"
>Lipey: (EIINNU) +12 494
#note I think we forgot the last two tiles in the bag so final was agreed 490-444.
