>Carl: ??IMNPT 8B IMPriNT +74 74
>Jack: AEFIORS G4 FARI.OSE +63 63
>Carl: CEEINOU H1 ONCE +27 101
#note Disastrous! I failed to see EUPNOEIC D6 (-63). Even worse when you figure that CEEINOU is one of 2,000 blank-bingo racks I've studied specifically for the tournament.
>Jack: ABCEIOS E6 AE.OBICS +72 135
#note After EUPNOEIC, Jack has no bingo.
>Carl: AEIKLLU C3 KALIU. +26 127
#note On reflection, I think drawing both blanks right at the start made me feel ashamed to get so lucky, lowering my resolve. I subconsciously wanted to Jack to win.
>Jack: BORV 4A BR.VO +26 161
>Carl: EEEFLOT A1 FEE. +27 154
>Jack: EILORST 1H .ESTRIOL +77 238
>Carl: EELOTUY 13B YOU.E +16 170
#note CUTELY 3H wins the sim. (-5)
>Jack: Q 6B Q. +31 269
>Carl: AEELOTT 14A TOE +18 188
#note I looked really hard but managed to miss ANOTHER bingo! (-37) Winning chances below 5% at this point.
>Jack: HLWY 14F HWYL +34 303
>Carl: AAELORT 15H AORTA +35 223
#note Winning chances at 4%. I don't deserve to, but I manage to come back from the dead after this.
>Jack: GJU L12 JUG. +24 327
>Carl: AEILNRS 3H .ARLINES +72 295
#note RENAILS 11I wins the sim-- just barely.
>Jack: GGV 13K V.GG +18 345
>Carl: AEHNPUX O3 .HAPEN +45 340
#note This sims second best behind PUNA 11I. Would Jack let me get away with another X setup? (-1)
>Jack: DEIMT N10 MID.ET +32 377
>Carl: ADDENUX N5 DUD +19 359
#note For the third time, I blow this game. I'll always lose if Jack has the Z, so I must plan on drawing it. But if I draw the Z after DUD, I'm stuck with either X or Z and lose on spread. It's like my brain just wasn't firing. The correct play is simply EX B1.
>Jack: ADIIRTW 15A AW +30 407
#note Jack tanked for a long time on this play, during which I felt very foolish, having just drawn the Z, and knowing that he'll take out ZAX and play out in two, and I'll be out of the money. Serves me right. But miraculously, Jack had forgotten about the A hook for JUGA, and figured that I couldn't play out after ZAX. I'm not out of the woods yet though. I have about two minutes to come up with a winning sequence. Can you?
>Carl: AENNXZ 11K ZA +35 394
#note ZA threatens EX B1 and ANNEX I3 for the out. I was really happy to find this, but it's still wrong. It can be thwarted by ARID I3... TI O14. Correct play is the more obvious NAZI 11K. I didn't notice that I could play out with EXINE 11C. The extra points for NAZI outrun any blocking sequence Jack has.
>Jack: DIIRT 2F DI.T +12 419
>Carl: ENNX B1 EX +41 435
>Jack: IR 7L RI.. +6 425
#note I feel deeply ashamed about this game. If you've ever wondered why my rating isn't higher, look no further. I'm just not that sharp.
