#note Q recommends keeping ELS or EILS instead.

>Jason_Keller: IZ 4F .IZ +25 163
>Rob_Robinsky: BEEJKSW H1 JEE. +60 193
#note This is an autological play!
>Jason_Keller: CEINPU 2H .UPNEIC +34 197
>Rob_Robinsky: ABGKLSW L1 K.WL +32 225
#note I saw 3G KEG, and Quackle favors it by a few points in the sim. Given how few E's remain unseen, I gave a little too much importance to starting to block them off. As I've mentioned before, G's suck and in this case I'm also holding D3 BLAW to score a bunch next turn. I overthought this position a bit.
>Jason_Keller: BHTU B9 BHUT +38 235
>Rob_Robinsky: AABEGPS A11 PAGES +36 261
#note D11 BE is cute, and slightly favored. Even with an E and S in hand, I'm a little leery of getting into a tit-for-tat type of midgame. AEGPS isn't terrible though, especially with the floating R available, but losing the race to bingo could be pretty painful on this board.
>Jason_Keller: DEWY B4 DEWY +24 259
#note Jason mentioned after the game that he talked himself out of WEIRDY.
>Rob_Robinsky: AAABRSY A1 ABRAY +42 303
#note Held and released. Ordinarily I'd have played YABA instead of ABRAY, but the unseen R's and scarcity of E's make that a risky choice in this case.
>Jason_Keller: MM 3G M.M +27 286
#note Playing KEG earlier also would have prevented a pointy consonant dump.
>Rob_Robinsky: AADDGOS D3 GOAD +25 328
>Jason_Keller: IQ E2 QI +14 300
>Rob_Robinsky: ADRSTTV H7 V.RT +7 335
#note Quackle prefers burning the S with J6 VAST. In a vacuum I understand why, but I was uncomfortable with the risk of continued consonant-heavy racks on this board as well as the potential for being hamstrung to deal with Jason's openings should he already have or draw the blank.
>Jason_Keller: FOR F10 FRO +31 331
>Rob_Robinsky: AADHIST B1 HA +23 358
>Jason_Keller: OO A8 OO +11 342
>Rob_Robinsky: ADINSTU J6 UNSTAID +71 429
>Rob_Robinsky: ?DLLOTT (challenge) +5 434
#note Sacrificing a few points to make 8s more difficult.
>Jason_Keller: EIV 12J .EVI +16 358
>Rob_Robinsky: ?DLLOTT 12J ....L +9 443
#note Right idea, but poorly executed. I want to shed the second L, but I didn't consider how giving Jason another consonant might let him bingo.
>Jason_Keller: ACEINOR N8 CREO.IAN +74 432
#note Fishing off the E for JEEZE wins if the blank is in the bag. However, my fish of the L telegraphed that I had already drawn the blank, so Jason has no reason to try for the miracle win.
>Rob_Robinsky: ?DLNOTT K9 OLD.N +22 465
#note 2 points worse than 5D ABODE
>Jason_Keller: I 2E .I +13 445
>Jason_Keller: (TT?) +4 449
