>Josh: EIMNOPT I1 PIMENTO +68 136
#note seeing IMPOTEN(T) was important. I can't miss these bingos against Mack, and as you'll see (or maybe you have seen) this proves to be close to decisive in both of our games.
>Mack: ?EEELOR 1H O.ERcELE +131 203
>Josh: DDIOORV 4G OV.RDID +32 168
#note 14J OVOID might be the play here. Dangerous and aggressive, a good approach on a shootout board such as this one. OV(E)RDO and D(E)VOID also good here. All 4 plays are very close.
>Mack: AFGIIOW 9C WAIFI.G +21 224
>Josh: BEHLNOU E11 BU.OH +20 188
#note wishing for a 3x3 of my own is not really a smart strategy here. The U isn't really that bad. 3L HOB is fine. #strategysmall
>Mack: ABCDIOU 15D C.IAO +39 263
#note Or DHOBI
>Josh: ACEFLNS 8A LEAF +47 235
#note CLEF is a bad miss, same spot. That's 6 more points and a better lane to work with. Rare lapse. #findinglarge
>Mack: BDEQTUV 10B VET +26 289
>Josh: CEIMNSU 3E CUM +17 252
#note I think I remember spotting 14I NEUMIC and knowing that Mack would be 100% on whether it was a word or not. 3K EMIC is also a decent option considering the new S hook. Could also go straight for the row 5 bing followed by a timely x-bomb with UM in the same spot. #questionable
>Mack: BDEHQUY 2H H.DE +26 315
#note Weird play, but it sims best, blocking the X bomb and keeping J10 plays with the Q with an A, I, or O draw
>Josh: EGIIKNS 3K EKING +37 289
#note I also considered KI in the same spot. Was going to play that until Mack gave me 2 more points for EKING. KI is potentially still better, but Mack is definitely likely to try and block row 5 next and if I don't hit immediately I might be in board trouble. Row 14 and column K are still available after KI, which is probably good enough. #tacticssmall
>Mack: BPQRSUY B5 BYR. +17 332
#note Quackle says D3 SUQ, I don't mind this though
>Josh: IJLSTWZ 5B .LITZ +32 321
#note the issue with EKING bares its teeth. Now I am potentially in range to come back without a bingo at least? Keeping the Z seems to have a lot of value, and I should play JILT 5D. #strategysmall
>Mack: AEPQSSU J10 QUA.S +37 369
>Josh: AIJSSWY K8 AJIS +37 358
#note seems really close between this and YWIS. I think I hesitated for a while between the two options. #questionable
>Mack: AAEENPS 8K .PNEA +30 399
#note The pool is pretty bad for bingos, so it feels like I'm more likely to lose to a big X play than a bingo here
>Josh: ?NOOSWY M6 NO.SnOWY +80 438
>Josh: ?NOOSWY -- -80 358
#note seemed pretty hopeless here, thought this had a decent chance at being a word. At least more than my chances of winning this game otherwise.

However, I can win with an X draw if I play the incredible 15K (S)WOON, blocking Mack's bingos with AEILRRS and setting up for XYSt/(SWOON)S as well as D1 XYSt(I)/S(CUM)!! Mack doesn't have enough to score to outrun D1 XYSt(I) and I would win 428-426!

The awful thing is that this would have worked. I need to get better at 1) saving spread and 2) not resigning myself to lose

>Mack: AEILRRS M7 S.ARLIER +70 469
>Josh: ?NOOSWY 14A YOW +23 381
#note L12 SWaY was missed, and it's better to block XU/XU with YOW 12A. -13 #endgamelarge
>Mack: X 12D X. +36 505
>Mack: (NOS?) +6 511
