>Joel_Horn: IRRY 8G YIRR +14 14
>Morris_Greenberg: AABEMNW 7F WAB +19 19
#note Interesting choice here. I thought YIRR made S less likely than usual; I thought YIRRS would be the kind of play Joel makes over YIRR. WAB for 2 more at 7E instead of 7F opens up a lot of scoring spots.
>Joel_Horn: FLU J6 FU.L +15 29
>Morris_Greenberg: AEEMNOZ 9C ZONAE +32 51
#note Quackle agrees that taking 1 fewer points at 9C is smarter than playing at K2 or K3. However, it is a toss up between ZOEAE and ZONAE, perhaps because there is extra defensive merit for ZOEAE by limiting parallel plays underneath.
>Joel_Horn: EFRT D8 F.RTE +24 53
>Morris_Greenberg: EEIIMPU E11 IMPI +24 75
#note I missed UP(T)IME.
>Joel_Horn: ?DEHPRS 15E SHaRPED +95 148
>Morris_Greenberg: AEENQSU K3 QUEAN +35 110
>Joel_Horn: TX 4J T.X +20 168
>Morris_Greenberg: CDEEINS F13 ED. +22 132
>Joel_Horn: AEGILOR K9 ARGLE +14 182
#note Joel said he wanted to block the 14J spot. AGILE might have been a better version.
>Morris_Greenberg: CEINSUV 12K .UV +12 144
#note I was choosing between (L)UV and (FA)UVE here. I thought that the leave and easiness to hit the bingo lane gave LUV an edge over the higher reward FAUVE.
>Joel_Horn: BEINO M10 BO.INE +22 204
>Morris_Greenberg: ACEINSU 10B CA. +22 166
#note I was choosing between CA(R) and (E)CU here. Since Joel was sacrificing a lot of points to block things, I thought it would be a good move to go the aggressive route. They are neck-and-neck per Quackle.
>Joel_Horn: ADEMOOR C12 MOOD +21 225
#note After the game, we realized Joel could have played RODEO 6B here to block 2 juicy S lanes. With an S inference, RODEO becomes a super slick play.
>Morris_Greenberg: EIINOSU 14L U.I +6 172
#note Wild Morris time.
>Joel_Horn: AEJOR B14 JO +39 264
>Morris_Greenberg: EEIKNOS O8 EIKONES +90 262
#note At this point, the board is open enough that I figure it would be useful to play the 90+ pointer that creates another lane at O8 than the more defensive one at A4. I'd be curious to hear thoughts though.
>Joel_Horn: ILN G11 LIN +10 274
>Morris_Greenberg: AEGHILO 6B HELIO +25 287
#note It is hard to know what Joel had on his last play, but I put him on a range of 7 1-pointers with no blank or S (and that did not bingo from N2 or N3). Something like AEILNNR. Given that it is less likely he had a bingo AND likely didn't have the blank, I thought turnover and blocking was smart. However, I should've thought about this more and blocked the 1 lane that doesn't require an S hook, with something like GOAL N6. When simming that, it immediately jumps to the top.
>Joel_Horn: ACENRST N2 SCANTER +74 348
>Morris_Greenberg: ?AAGGIW D4 GA. +8 295
#note Another decoy lane attempt, this time for TAWsING/S(CAR).
>Joel_Horn: ETTY 3C YETT +19 367
>Morris_Greenberg: ?ADGISW 5C W.G +25 320
#note jIGSAW.
>Joel_Horn: AOTV 7A VAT +19 386
>Morris_Greenberg: ?ADIS A9 ASDIc +12 332
#note tSADI L6.
>Morris_Greenberg: (O) +2 334
