>Jeremy: ?AEGOSU 12C GASEOUs +75 156
>Mack: DDEEEMR I7 ED +13 112
#note Thought for a while on this turn. I have a number of mediocre options, including this, 1A FUNKED, I5 MEED, and 2A EM. I just didn't really see myself getting anywhere with the other options, the bottom part of the board is going to be hard to hit regardless with my leave, and ED felt like the best way to open up a new lane without giving too much back to Jeremy while keeping a good leave.
>Jeremy: CDDEEI J2 DEICED +23 179
>Mack: DEEMRTY B6 MY +28 140
#note Maybe this is too aggressive? I thought about FUNKY/YET, but felt Jeremy would just play through or parallel to DEICED and I'd have a really hard time bingoing. On the other hand, while Jeremy may score a lot on the left after MY, at least he'll have to leave the floaters in DEICED open, and in most cases he won't score all that much. Unfortunately this wasn't one of these "most cases"...
>Jeremy: AAHPX A5 HAPAX +64 243
#note Ouch
>Mack: ADEERTU 5J .UE +10 150
#note Now I need to bingo ASAP... this feels forced
>Jeremy: EFJ L2 JEF. +28 271
>Mack: ADEIRRT 2L .IRD +24 174
#note JAR is too easy to block, definitely not getting anywhere with M3 RAD. Maybe M3 REDIA? That's pretty risky though with the E and L hooks, this looks OK.
>Jeremy: IMO 1M MOI +30 301
>Mack: AEEHORT 13C OH +21 195
#note Perhaps I should've just bit the bullet and played 13I HETERO... I feel like I'm just giving Jeremy even more free points though, and if I want any chance of winning I need to play fewer tiles and open a lane without giving so much back
>Jeremy: EIST 1A ....IEST +45 346
>Mack: AEERSTV 14B STARVE +44 239
#note At this point I really don't see myself winning so I decide to just try to cut spread
>Jeremy: EN M1 ..NE +21 367
>Mack: ?EILLPW 3G WIL. +12 251
#note Maybe should've done 15G LWEI, he almost definitely didn't keep the Q with MINE. I played this very quickly without thinking that through in the moment, I was getting quite low on time
>Jeremy: ERV 15G REV +20 387
>Mack: ?EILOPY N4 EPIbOLY +77 328
#note Probably should have played this at 11I to prevent what happened next... I'm too far down to try not bingoing now and catching him with QZ, even if I do I'll fall short
>Jeremy: GNOQRTZ 8L ZO.N +69 456
>Mack: AI B14 .I +2 330
#note This is the worst possible play I can make in this endgame by 19 points and 58 points off of the optimal 9L AIL! Before my idiocy is mercilessly laughed at (which it still deserves to be a little), allow me to at least explain what happened.

I had 2.6 seconds left after my last turn and was trying to slap down an outplay quickly to avoid going over. I didn't have time to see the 9L AIL outplay Jeremy just opened by playing ZOON, so I proceeded to slap down 15A AI as fast as possible before I went over. In my haste I did not successfully place the A in its square, but it fell off the board as I was moving to hit my clock (which read 0:00.0 exactly after I hit it). But the I was indeed in its square. Since the A did not remain on the board, it did not count, but - to my dismay! - the I that I played still did. My play was thus SI. It would've been far better if I had lost my turn entirely, since then Jeremy would have to play QI for 11 instead of 33! Perhaps the most ironic part about this mishap is that I still ended up going over. I of course still had the A on my rack after SI and with 0:00.0 on my clock could not play out after Jeremy's play of QI without going over by a fraction of a second!

>Jeremy: GQRT 15A Q. +33 489
>Mack: A L8 .A +11 341
#note -10 to me for time :P
>Mack: (GRT) +8 349
