>Joey_Krafchick: ADM H7 MAD +12 12
>Jim_Burlant: BEOSSUX I6 BOXES +34 34
#note I considered this and the 10D placement. Though 10D scored 3 more, I didn't like stringing the board open. Q feels I got it wrong, saying I should just play 10H SOX. If I was going to play long, it felt I should have played at 10D.
>Joey_Krafchick: AHNT J10 HANT +28 40
>Jim_Burlant: IJNOSTU 12H JU.TO +40 74
#note I saw UNJOINTS but was nowhere near sure enough about it to chance putting it down against Joey. Obviously UNJOINTS if I know it's good, otherwise this is next best.
>Joey_Krafchick: ADLNU J3 ULNAD +20 60
>Jim_Burlant: EINNRST M6 TINNERS +72 146
#note Or INTERNS.
>Joey_Krafchick: INN H12 .INN +33 93
#note As this came down, my comment to Joey, which drew a chuckle: "Is there anyone in the history of Scrabble that could not make that extension?" :-)
>Jim_Burlant: BEILMTZ L3 BEZIL +36 182
#note Missing ZINEB 8K for 51. At least if I've got to whiff, this is the time to do it. Still 84% to win.
>Joey_Krafchick: ADEFY 11D FAYED +37 130
>Jim_Burlant: AEMQTVW 12C QAT +36 218
#note I couldn't figure out if I should play QAT or VAW on this turn. In retrospect I don't think I need to unload the Q just yet - I have Q spots at 13G and M2 if I play VAW 12C or WAVE 12A, and if I play WAVE, it gives me 4 cracks at an I for QI G13. If I had this to do again I'd play WAVE 12A to score 38 and maximize turnover.
>Joey_Krafchick: FKORS N2 FORKS +33 163
>Jim_Burlant: CEEMVVW O1 MEW +34 252
#note At least I get this right. Back to 83%.
>Joey_Krafchick: ?EEHPSU 15F PE.UcHES +63 226
#note Wow- best bingo for Joey is E4 SUPErHE(AT) for 76!
>Jim_Burlant: CEEIRVV 13B CIRE +43 295
>Joey_Krafchick: AAWY 14K AWAY +32 258
>Jim_Burlant: AEGORVV K8 OVER. +26 321
#note Strong play - it's my highest available scoring play - but not quite best. Better would have been F7 GROVY - with only one A unseen, his odds of being able to do anything down the E column are very small.
>Joey_Krafchick: DGGRU F6 DRUGG. +20 278
>Jim_Burlant: AEEEGIV E5 VIA +17 338
#note Looking at the pool I recognized the need to unload the I with VIE instead of VEE...except I didn't pay attention to what I was doing and I put down VIA, keeping EEE. Brilliant. The play here, quackle notwithstanding, is to defend against what he's opened up. Q thinks I should play VEGIE E2 or E3 and give him lines to bingo through. VIE was the play.
>Joey_Krafchick: LOT 8C TOL. +12 290
>Jim_Burlant: ?EEEGIR C8 .EE +4 342
#note No bingoes play. Just attempting to shut down any bingo lines while making sure I didn't do something stupid like playing GEE 9B, giving him somewhere to play TOPICAL for the win.
>Joey_Krafchick: IILOOPT 3L .L.. +18 308

>Jim_Burlant: ?AEGIR B13 .IG +12 369
>Joey_Krafchick: CIIO 10A IC. +11 327
>Jim_Burlant: ?AER A8 RA.sE +15 384
>Jim_Burlant: (IO) +4 388
