#note I spent a really long time here, and I wasn't really focused since it was the first game. Choices included GUY, NAGGY, GYVE, and some other similar things. I imagined something like IIMNRTZ as his rack, but obviously that's not necessarily a good guess since he may not be playing for equity. I didn't like opening 10F for the Z, so NAGGY was off the table. I liked that this led to a closed board pretty often though if Kene doesn't have an S (which I doubted he did at this point). I was too fixated on getting rid of the G, too. Everything's close but I think I'd take GYVE in a redo.

>Avery: ABLNRTT 11I BATT +22 56
>Kene: FIRZ L8 FRI.Z +42 59
>Avery: ILLNNOR 8L .ILL +21 77
#note Ugly leave, but my other options are also bad.
>Kene: DEK F8 D.KE +22 81
>Avery: AAGNNOR E3 ORGANA +17 94
#note He was playing in a way that made it hard to make any inferences, but since he had said he was rusty, I felt comfortable playing an open board and racing for a bingo of my own to gain a lead. Though also, I didn't want to agonize over this rack longer than I did. I was already down to like 12 minutes at this point. Again fixated on the G being gone, and I didn't see GOANNA. I don't mind this, but it's a mistake still.
>Kene: LNST 6C SL.NT +7 88
>Avery: EEENNST 12H NEE +16 110
#note So does SLANT take an A at the front? I had no idea. I missed ENNE(AD) which is clearly best.
>Kene: FMORS D8 FORMS +39 127
#note Already feeling annoyed with myself
>Avery: ?EENRST O8 .iSTENER +74 184
>Kene: DOP 4D P.OD +14 141
>Avery: DEEEOTW N13 OWE +26 210
#note Spent a while here too. He's clearly keeping well and has the case S, so I wanted to block the bottom. I hated giving up this many points, but I have to. CP picks this.
>Kene: EISTX H1 EXIST +48 189
>Avery: ADEEITW M12 AWE +41 251
>Kene: AIL C11 AIL +12 201
>Avery: ADEEITU 2F TA.IED +18 269
#note I was all set to try ASLANT/AUDITEE still being unsure of the hook, but this stopped it. I had absolutely no idea what to do here. I was already running low on time and decided to make the top harder to use. I opted not to try ASLANT even though I figured ADIEU would be CP's pick (it is). This is barely on the list. Definitely not proud of this.
>Kene: ADIQ B12 QADI +42 243
#note I think he said he had ACQUIRED though, so it ended up being ok
>Avery: CEOPRUU A13 COP +41 310
#note Set to do RECOUP but I have to block this opening
>Kene: ?AHJORU - +0 243
#note Exchange 3
>Avery: AEIRRUU 1K AUREI +21 331
#note Trying to block the L for lack of better options
>Kene: NOU H12 .OUN +12 255
>Avery: BCEORUV 14G C.RVE +18 349
#note We were both low on time and I had less than a minute, so I slapped this down. I correctly deduced he had no 7s playable, so ASLANT wasn't a worry of mine. CP says to play 1B CURVE.
>Kene: ?AHIJNY M5 HAJ. +22 277
#note HIJRA/ASLANT.
>Avery: BOOU N5 OBO. +36 385
#note held and released
>Kene: ?INY 7H .INY +11 288
#note He wasn't sure of HON. If he's not going out, TINY is better with these letters, and L4 YON is also better.
>Avery: U 15A ..U +5 390
#note Hoping the caffeine kicks in soon.
>Avery: (?) +0 390
