>Rafi_Stern: EFHIT H8 THIEF +30 30
>Charles_Reinke: ADEEIMT 8B MEDITA.E +63 63
#note Funny story: I didn't even realize I had MEDIATE until the next turn, even though my play has all those letters in that order.
>Rafi_Stern: ADEEFL J8 DEFLEA +31 61
>Charles_Reinke: ?EJPRUY E5 JUn.PERY +126 189
>Charles_Reinke: ?EJPRUY -- -126 63
#note I told myself that if PERJURY got blocked, I was going to try this. If I had realized I was thinking of JASPERY, I would have abandoned that plan. Rafi insta-challenged because he was probably tired of me relentlessly phonying him.
>Rafi_Stern: OVW 7A VOW +26 87
>Charles_Reinke: ?EJPRUY 13I J.PERY +52 115
#note I'm having a hard time believing that I missed PErJURY for 95 points in the spot that Rafi just made for me. It's like I couldn't even fathom the fact that he would give me a spot when he knew exactly what I had. Something similar happened against Rafi two years ago so I bet he's an alien and he's manipulating my aura for nefarious purposes: http://www.cross-tables.com/annotated.php?u=21572#15#
>Rafi_Stern: AGINORS 6B SOARING +75 162
>Charles_Reinke: ?MNNNTU L10 UNM.T +14 129
#note NUM(E)N is obviously better.
>Rafi_Stern: LUX 11E LUX. +22 184
>Charles_Reinke: ?BENNOR M5 BaRONNE +64 193
>Rafi_Stern: HRRTW C3 THR...R +28 212
>Charles_Reinke: AACIKTT 8L C.AT +27 220
#note L4 TAKA blocks L8 and keeps a better leave.
>Rafi_Stern: EOQ F8 .OQ.E +34 246
>Charles_Reinke: AAIKNST 13C IKAT +31 251
#note Tough decision between this and H1 TAKIN(G). With this play, the only way to bingo is to play an eight through a T. I can't believe I missed PERJURY.
>Rafi_Stern: OVW N4 VOW +33 279
>Charles_Reinke: AAEENSZ 4C .AZE +32 283
#note 14J SA(T)EEN is 45 points and sets up 15N ZA for 54 next turn! Seeing that over the board would have filled me with glee, but seeing it now just fills me with despair.
>Rafi_Stern: DGO G4 DO.G. +27 306
>Charles_Reinke: ACEGNSS 14C NAGS +36 319
#note E3 C(Z)A(R) is reasonable here to prevent Rafi from scoring there later. I don't think I was very aware of that spot until a turn later, but it's an important one because it's one of the last spots to score a decent amount of points. I can't believe I missed PERJURY.
>Rafi_Stern: AEOR 12A AERO +27 333
#note Scored as 25.
>Charles_Reinke: BCEIPSU A11 B.SIC +27 346
#note Too much to consider here. There are four I's unseen so I want to play mine. Only one A in the bag, which makes A(VOW), A(BO), and I(Z)A(R) less of a threat. But I didn't think Rafi would play his A with AERO unless he had another one, so I figured he would be scoring a fair amount in one of those spots. In the end, I went for the play that scored the most and got rid of an I - but SI(Z)E(R) does the same things while blocking IZAR. Quackle prefers I2 PUBIS by a fair margin, for what it's worth.
>Rafi_Stern: AI E3 I.A. +26 359
>Charles_Reinke: EILLNPU 6J PIL.. +15 361
#note Quackle says I7 L(E)U wins 47% but I'm struggling to understand how. I need to either draw the blank or the Y to have a chance (the latter for the 15D spot) but maybe I'm missing something.
>Rafi_Stern: DEIOSUY 15C DYE +35 394
>Charles_Reinke: ?EILNU K11 UL.aN +26 387
>Rafi_Stern: IOSU 2E SOU +19 413
>Charles_Reinke: EI O8 .IE +3 390
#note I can't believe I missed PERJURY.
>Charles_Reinke: (I) +2 392
#note I can't believe I missed PERJURY.
