>Morris_Greenberg: ?EEIRSY B7 YIE.dERS +70 189
#note Wasn't sure if bingoing was correct here, as all of them open a lot of counterplay. Quackle likes this option more than any nonbingo, but slightly prefers RIbEYES 10I to YIE(L)dERS. It's an interesting decision, but I think Quackle is incorrect in evaluating this position: next turn, Mary averages 49 points after RIbEYES with a standard deviation of 22, whereas she averages 47 with YIE(L)dERS with a standard deviation of 16. I think thereafter, it is really tough for Quackle to correctly evaluate what I do. Depending on my random draw, I might start playing a very block-y game after YIE(L)dERS rather than highest equity, so the gap in points will become increasingly valuable on a more restricted board. I'd love to hear others' thoughts on positions like these.
>Mary_Goulet: OVX A6 VOX +71 191
#note Alright, RIbEYES is looking a whole lot better now.
>Morris_Greenberg: ABDFORW A12 WOAD +49 238
>Mary_Goulet: AHW 1G HAW +43 234
>Morris_Greenberg: BFKNQRR C1 B.RK +20 258
#note BARF looks slightly better here.
>Mary_Goulet: FU 1A FU. +24 258
>Morris_Greenberg: FLNQRUU E4 FLU +14 272
#note This is not that great because of the easy scoring it allows. (K)A(F), (K)E(F), or (K)I(F) alone score 20, and a play like EON D4 scores over 30 on an otherwise constricted board. Therefore, (K)NURL 4C looks like a better option.
>Mary_Goulet: I 4C .I. +20 278
>Morris_Greenberg: ?DENQRU 12D .NQUiRED +67 339
>Mary_Goulet: HOPP H11 H.PPO +33 311
>Morris_Greenberg: CDEENOZ 14F CO.ED +20 359
#note Not a great equity choice, but performs well in a sim, just behind ZE(P) 14F, ZE(E) J10, and (H)ONED 11H. I'd be curious to hear of others' thoughts on this position.
>Mary_Goulet: ABILT 11J BALTI +24 335
>Morris_Greenberg: AEEJNRZ N10 J.N +26 385
#note Interestingly, Quackle says this is only 71% to win, whereas Z(I)NE in the same spot is 97%. I forgot about the fact that there are no more A's, so Mary cannot access column O after ZINE but can after JIN.
>Mary_Goulet: GO N10 ...GO +26 361
>Morris_Greenberg: AEENRSZ 4H A..ZE +34 419
>Mary_Goulet: CEIIRTT M3 TRICE +33 394
#note I want to challenge here, but I could lose the game if AMAZER* is valid.
>Morris_Greenberg: ENRS 15J ERNS +8 427
>Morris_Greenberg: (IT) +4 431
