#player1 Joey_Mallick Joey Mallick
#player2 Morris_Greenberg Morris Greenberg
>Joey_Mallick: BNRTTUU 8D BUTUT +20 20
#note JM: I saw that BURNT sets up a possibkle OUTBURNT, but getting rid of two Us at once took priority.
>Morris_Greenberg: CDEFHIS F6 FI.CH +29 29
>Joey_Mallick: ALNORVW D8 .LOWN +20 40
>Morris_Greenberg: CDDEOOS E5 DO +11 40
#note MG: Forgetting OCH here is pretty bad. COOED E10 all of the way.
>Joey_Mallick: AAGPRRV 4D VAR +16 56
>Morris_Greenberg: CDENOSV 3E DEVON +22 62
#note MG: Once again, I am unaware ofthe E10 spot, otherwise, COED.
>Joey_Mallick: AABGIPR H1 BI.G +27 83
>Morris_Greenberg: ACEJRSS 11B JA.S +28 90
>Joey_Mallick: ?AAAIPR 9H AA +5 88
#note JM: Missing APRAXIA, though neither placement is ideal.
>Morris_Greenberg: CEKLNRS B11 .ERK +30 120
#note MG: I really considered just playing the N off (with something like N(O) 10C), as an I gives me (B)RICKLES, O gives me (B)LOCKERS, and a U gives me (B)UCKLERS all for over 100 points. Still, that only occurs 14/62 (22.6%), so I decided to take the sure points now. Is 26 points worth sacrificing here? Quackle prefers JERK, though only second to (TA)CKLERS, which scores an extra 19.
>Joey_Mallick: ?AGILPR J5 GRAPLIn +66 154
#note JM: For whatever reason I thought this had no anagram. PARLING scores a few more.
>Morris_Greenberg: CDELMNS 12I MEND +24 144
#note MG: This was a very tough decision. There are still a lot of N's unseen, but MEND creates access to the triple with A(MEND) and E(MEND). I thought CLS was a better leave than CNS normally, so I went with MEND for that reason, but that is incorrect. Additionally, 3 N's out of the 52 unseen shouldn't affect my score as negatively as the H triple line opening does for Joey's score positively. Therefore, this is a misjudgment.
>Joey_Mallick: AEIMOSW H11 MEOWS +42 196
#note JM: I didn't notice ASWIM, but this hook seemed more dangerous anyway.
>Morris_Greenberg: CEGLOST 13G G.O +12 156
#note MG: Maybe ESCOT 15A?
>Joey_Mallick: ?AEIIOO L10 OI.IA +6 202
>Morris_Greenberg: CEILOST M4 CITOLES +63 219
#note MG: SOLECI(S)T
>Joey_Mallick: ?AEEFNO 8L F.EA +33 235
>Morris_Greenberg: AEEERTY 15A EYE +37 256
>Joey_Mallick: ?EHNOUX L5 XU +20 255
>Morris_Greenberg: AAEIPRT N6 AP. +16 272
#note MG: Quackle much prefers (W)AP because it blocks a high scoring spot at 14I very effectively. My choice lowers his bingo chances by 8% though.
>Joey_Mallick: ?EHNORT O8 .NTiHERO +92 347
>Morris_Greenberg: AEEIRTY N13 YA +19 291
#note MG: YA allows me to have a chance to win in 2 different ways: I have a chance to Q stick him now if he picked up the Q without a U, as there are only 2 potential Q spots remaining (Q(A)T 7I and QI(S) 15F) so I can block accordingly next turn if I draw the last T. The other way I can win is by playing off an E at 9C, and drawing into something like UNTIRED or RETILED. I played YA over YE because I wanted E(L) instead of A(L) so that I can also get bingos ending in T. This only allows for 3 additional bingos though: TRIDENT, QUERIST, and RULIEST. That may be why YE sims better, as I bingo 13% more often with AEIRT than EEIRT. Quackle prefers playing YE(A), probably as a block for QU(A) and (S)UQ, which renders his U basically useless with the Q on this board.
>Joey_Mallick: EINQSTU 14J QU. +32 379
>Morris_Greenberg: DEEIRTZ 9C E. +3 294
#note MG: Trying to create a decoy lane to block and fish for DITZES at O1. It turns out that doesn't even score enough to win, so I should probably just play D(U)RE.
>Joey_Mallick: EINNRST B3 INTERNS +62 441
>Morris_Greenberg: DEILRTZ C1 ZED +32 326
#note MG: (B)LITZED.
>Joey_Mallick: I 8A I. +6 447
#note JM: Duh, QI.
>Joey_Mallick: (ILRT) +8 455
