>Joshua: AADMOVY H7 DAVY +22 22
>Joey: EHNOPRU 10H .UP +14 14
>Joshua: AAIMORS 11I MOA +18 40
#note I struggled this turn. I saw MARI(P)OSA but wasn't sure it was a Scrabble word. I totally missed (D)IORAMAS, not even sure I looked at the D. Funny thing is, if I would have seen DIORAMAS and played it, I probably would have lost this game, because that's just how unfair Scrabble is. -35
>Joey: BEHINOR 12J HERB +28 42
#note Not crazy about any of the options here. I was between this and BRINE. I thought HOB gave back way too much.
>Joshua: ABIIRSX N10 XIS +36 76
#note I wish I had seen RAB(B)I. That's the play. Sets up my X, and induces Joey into giving me even more X options sometimes
>Joey: GHINOSS O6 HONGI +36 78
#note Denied the chance to try HOSINGS*, which may have been disastrous. Double esses drive me crazy. I should probably get rid of one with either GHIS or HONGIS.

Josh: really not happy right now. I'm now convinced MARIPOSA was valid.
>Joshua: ABCEIRY 9G I.Y +26 102
#note First time I miss BEVY in this tournament. I'm gonna have to see 4-letter words to cash next year. I liked this just about as much as CA(V)Y, but BE(V)Y is clearly better. ACIR is better than BEIR on this board and given all those E's in the unseen pool.
>Joey: NOSSTTU N2 TONUS +21 99
#note Josh: I like free information
>Joshua: ABCEENR 2G CABERNE. +64 166
#note I spend a lot of time with racks like these for a reason. And sometimes I do see the bingo.
>Joey: ACEISTU M11 A.UT +14 113
#note Can't do a thing at H8 so I make my own hotspot.
>Joshua: ADEIIJO F9 JIAO +30 196
#note not much I can do about his impending bingo but leave the weirdly un-hittable H1 spot open for next turn. If he uses it up I can probably do something about (ABUT)S. I also considered EJIDO in the same spot, but I preferred my leave for scoring and felt no need to create another lane, even if it meant that I was trailing after Joey's bingo. Surely I will take the lead once again with a play at H1. J(A)DE just doesn't score enough to merit leaving so poorly
>Joey: CEIMNST H1 M.NIC +30 143
#note Missing both CENTIMES and TENESMIC, but...
>Joshua: ?DDEIOT 15G TODDIEs +83 279
#note finally decided this was a word
>Joey: AAEENST K1 A.SENATE +66 209
#note Things worked out after all...
>Joshua: GILLLTV 4D VILL. +16 295
#note gave long thought to LILT or TILL at L6 to block the humongous Z spot he created, but I didn't think he had it because of probability. However, I should be protecting myself from these situations anyway. He is more likely to have the Z than he is to win, therefore I should have sacrificed equity to block the spot. LILT vs TILL was interesting, because TILL set up my V, but gave more back to a random rack. I think LILT is better than TILL.
>Joey: AEORRRZ J4 RAZER +73 282
#note Things really worked out after all. I've got a fighting chance now.

Josh: was very annoyed at myself at this point
>Joshua: ?GLPQTW 11E Q.T +24 319
#note undeserving of this blank at this point. Get rid of my Q first, then my other clunk, but he is indeed more likely to block the spot for M1 P(E)W. Unsure but I made the wrong decision again I think.
>Joey: DEEEGOR L2 .ODE +23 305
>Joshua: ?EGLPWW E3 W.G +14 333
#note I saw absolutely no reason to block down low this turn, since the game was very close and my bingo leave was almost certainly better than his. Also he can hit the V or the I, and turns out he had something through the I, I think.
>Joey: EEGNRTU 14M .UG +8 313
#note GENITURE was obviously plan A. Plans B-Z really stunk.
>Joshua: ?EELOPW 14H WEEP +28 361
#note I did not even see REPLOWE(D) I don't think, and I probably would not have played it for fear of it getting challenged off. It's good. Goddamnit!
>Joey: EENORST 2C NOT +11 324
>Joshua: FILO 1A FOIL +29 390
#note didn't even get this one right. FOAL is better due to better endgame options, or worse ones for Joey? I don't think setting up INK is problematic. It's also fantastic that I didn't know NAILFOLD, otherwise I might have decided to play it, in which case Joey is almost certainly going to bingo out.
>Joey: EEFIKRS 6B FRISK +39 363
>Joshua: ?ALR M6 ALaR +11 401
>Joshua: (EE) +4 405
#note Josh: So disappointing
