#player2 Will Will
>Darrell: HILRW 8D WHIRL +30 30
>Will: ADEEELT 9C DEE +16 16
#note Tempted to play C8 AE here, since it makes it difficult for Darrell to block both the sevens lane down column B as well as the floaters in AWHIRL, but DEE seems okay as well, bingoing a fair amount and also giving me a solid helping of non-bingo double-doubles like LETHEAN with an N draw or many other things with the right two-tile picks.
>Darrell: ?MNNQTY D8 ..NNY +22 52
#note Darrell's actual rack. Tricky decision that looks like the correct one on his part.
>Will: AEELOTV G5 OVE.LATE +63 79
>Darrell: QT 10F Q.T +32 84
>Will: ABDESST 12F B.STEADS +74 153
>Darrell: ?EIMOSU I2 tIMEOUS +72 156
>Will: JLRTUWZ H1 JUT +33 186
#note Saving the Z for 11K.
>Darrell: ARY 11J RYA +27 183
>Will: DGLPRWZ 5E GL.Z.D +34 220
#note I was incredibly close to playing GLOWED here, saving my Z. Sim likes GLOWED better for a couple reasons. First, I almost certainly get a baseline score of 34 next turn from PUTZ 2G. I also get big ADZ plays underneath BESTEADS, but those plays are likely to give back a lot of points to Darrell, whether via ADZE comebacks or making a dangerous spot for the case S after plays like ZIP. I might have underrated the benefits of having a nice fallback option of PUTZ and overrated the risks of all of the Z plays I draw into that play at 13L.
>Darrell: ADI 4I .AID +17 200
>Will: AEIOPRW H12 .WOP +27 247
#note Another board opener with a lead, this time after a short play for a small score. Probably not the best idea. The sim winner, 13K POI, does make an S hook, but it's a lane that yields pretty significant comeback plays and I retain a W to potentially respond with something heavy.
>Darrell: HI I14 HI +14 214
>Will: AEGIIPR 3K PIG +19 266
#note I'm good with PIG over PIE and PIA in the same spot after Darrell's play of HI. I didn't consider J3 PADI, which does have the benefit of offering nothing new and saving a more balanced leave.
>Darrell: INOV 6B VINO +18 232
>Will: ?AEEIRU C11 EAU +13 279
#note I missed the sweet 15G EPINEURIA, which Mack found in less than a second when I gave it to him as a puzzle.
>Darrell: AEGU 4B AGUE +14 246
>Will: ?EIORRS N3 SORRIEr +65 344
#note Yuck, I missed DROSSIER, which is hugely superior here.
>Darrell: EF O8 FE +31 277
>Will: AEKMNOT J11 ..AM +26 370
#note Why not J14 MA for 29 in the same spot?
>Darrell: AL 3B LA +12 289
>Will: EKNNORT B12 KNOT +28 398
#note Not too much risk to this play with no ability to fit a bingo in down column A.
>Darrell: CIO 15A O.IC +27 316
>Will: BEFNRTX 3B ..X +19 417
#note One point better than just playing FLAX now.
>Darrell: ACEINOR A7 RACINO +39 355
#note Best.
>Will: BEFNRT A1 REF +32 449
>Darrell: E O8 ..E +6 361
>Darrell: (BNT) +10 371
