>Joshua_Sokol: AEHISVY H4 HEAVY +36 36
#note You know when you get that little satisfactory feeling seeing a rack that has a 7 in it, but then you don't realize that that is what you are feeling because your rack doesn't intuitively look like a bingo rack?
>Michael_Fagen: ?EIILMS 6B MILESI.n +67 67
#note (H)oMILIES is not a word Michael knew.

He tanked for 2 minutes here after noticing that my time was still running due to our slightly unresponsive clock. This really aggravated me because I thought it was against the rules to do that. It isn't though.
>Joshua_Sokol: AAIIKNS E2 AKIN.SIA +74 110
#note held and released. Learn yo 5-vowel 8s! I had this 2x2 before he blocked that, but was confident that if he did indeed block I would get another E to play thru.
>Michael_Fagen: CDU 3B DUC. +22 89
>Joshua_Sokol: EMNNPTV 8A TEMP. +36 146
#note Missing TENP(I)N. I vow to never miss TENPIN.
>Michael_Fagen: EEEEE -EEEEE +0 89
>Joshua_Sokol: AIINNTV 2A VIN +20 166
#note I wanted to play (M)INIVAN because I like the word and played it recently but that's not wise, let him open the board
>Michael_Fagen: EH F1 EH +26 115
>Joshua_Sokol: ADIINTT G1 DITA +20 186
>Michael_Fagen: AZ I3 ZA +27 142
>Joshua_Sokol: GINNOOT 3I .OONING +34 220
>Michael_Fagen: EILRSTU L2 I.SULTER +68 210
#note scared of hooking AKINESIA with LUSTIER
>Joshua_Sokol: BGPQTUW -WGPUQB +0 220
#note If this was really my rack, I completely spaced out on this turn. I really did not want to exchange and lose all the momentum I had, so I shouldn't have. I just missed 2J TW(I)G, which is totally reasonable, and 8K G(E)TUP which is fine because I have many spots to play the Q, 5K for example
>Michael_Fagen: AERW O1 WA.ER +30 240
>Joshua_Sokol: EENRRTT 5K R.T +6 226
#note definitely deserved this rut of a rack after my last blunder. I felt I sort of needed a bingo to get back into the game here and this seemed to give me that fairly often. I didn't keep QU last turn because options with the QU combo weren't really there, but now I regret it. I can probably still go on if I play T(E)RNE or R(E)NTE, but knowing E(TERNE) would have been the propulsion I needed to blow this rack up more than I did.
>Michael_Fagen: BEO K9 OBE +12 252
>Joshua_Sokol: ?AEENRT M7 ENTREAt +75 301
#note lol draw
>Michael_Fagen: CDELRSU 12L L.C +10 262
#note Luckily for me, Michael did not know for sure if CURDLES was a word, and so he eschewed it to set up his E and his S. It seemed safe as only two E's remained in the pool.
>Joshua_Sokol: EEGGITX O12 EXIT +43 344
#note But luckbox josh drew both remaining E's to save the game
>Michael_Fagen: DEJRSU J2 J. +25 287
>Joshua_Sokol: EGGOOUW 11G GOUG. +7 351
#note and suddenly I don't have any way to score well in my next two turns, and it looks pretty bad for me if Michael gets a bingo down next turn. But I tough it out and set up some scoring spots while blocking bingo lanes that don't allow for much counterplay if hit by Michael. I think this is the right move, glad to have found it.
>Michael_Fagen: BDEORSU N12 .UB +31 318
#note I worked out that this was his rack. Clearly the right play.
>Joshua_Sokol: DEFFOWY H11 .FFED +48 399
#note Now the Q comes into the mix again. If he hits a bingo and I draw the Q, do I survive? Unsure, but I prefered this over WOOFED because it seemed to maximize points within two turns and played one fewer tile to avoid the Q. I think I can survive a Q stick so long as he doesn't hit a bingo.
>Michael_Fagen: DENOORS B5 O. +4 322
#note This is probably his rack. He goes for a Q stick instead of aiming for a bingo. This seems like a mistake, as A-Q(U)A is available at I10 a lot of the time I have the Q, and when I don't have Q(U)A and I have the QI can just slowplay, block a bit and go for an A, and then block more if I don't draw a spot for my Q
>Joshua_Sokol: AALOPWY - +0 399
#note This seemed like the clearest path to victory. The Q is in there and he just blocked the only spot he can play the Q in. So if I just wait until he draws it, I will win. Just hope he doesn't hit something in the meantime.
>Michael_Fagen: O 1N O. +5 327
>Joshua_Sokol: AALOPWY - +0 399
#note surely he's drawn the Q now?
>Michael_Fagen: DENORRS B8 .NDORSER +76 403
#note nope...
>Joshua_Sokol: AALOPWY - +0 399
#note free challenge... lol
>Michael_Fagen: Q - +0 403
#note he actually played M2 Q(I) but I'm not going to give that silly attempt the light of day
>Joshua_Sokol: AALOPWY 14A O. +2 401
>Michael_Fagen: Q - +0 403
>Joshua_Sokol: AALPWY 15A P.AY +51 452
>Michael_Fagen: Q - +0 403
>Joshua_Sokol: ALW 2N W. +22 474
>Joshua_Sokol: ALW -- -22 452
#note He was passing instantly, so I figured I'd give this a try. He wasn't low on time so this was not against the rules.
>Michael_Fagen: Q - +0 403
>Joshua_Sokol: ALW 9J W... +7 459
#note My sequence was almost optimal, and then I way too quickly played my W off here instead of playing the A first, because I was set to play it off when I attempted WA*. -3, I could have won by 100
>Michael_Fagen: Q - +0 403
>Joshua_Sokol: AL J9 .A. +15 474
