>Ian_Weinstein: AIMNRRU 8D MURRAIN +74 74
>Joshua_Sokol: ALMNPVW 9B VAMP +22 22
#note Guess I needed to play I7 W(I)MP here to keep the board more open, but mostly to block his next play?
>Ian_Weinstein: ?CDEKPT I7 P.CKeTED +73 147
>Joshua_Sokol: BELNNOW H12 ENOW +32 54
#note Hated how this closed off a bunch of stuff, but I couldn't find anything that kept me in the game. E5 NON(UP)LE is what I missed. That's probably a bit better than this, as it leaves just about everything open, starts opening the top left, and scores 36. This was an invitation to Ian to stop bingo-ing (ENOW=ENOUGH), but he wouldn't listen.
>Ian_Weinstein: AEEFHST F2 FEATHE.S +92 239
#note He still had this for 25 fewer one spot to the right, so I was likely sunk either way. 30 points did not make a difference at this stage, and I don't think I would have hit a bingo keeping BW.
>Joshua_Sokol: BEELNRT 4B RENT.BLE +72 126
>Ian_Weinstein: AGINOSS B1 SOA.ING +20 259
#note Ian's clock was at around 24 minutes after his triple bingo start. After he finally made this play, he was down to 15 minutes. I had just blocked bingo number 4, and he probably spent a lot of time looking for another spot to go. This isn't a bad play, but E2 IO(T)AS would likely be my pick, although E6 SO(UP)ING wins a sim slightly.
>Joshua_Sokol: ACEGIWZ 3I WAG +20 146
#note But somehow, Ian determined after 9 minutes that I had one play to save my skin, and it was through the R. WA(R)EZ was 74. Can you imagine the agony of it being blocked after almost 10 minutes? I can't and I already felt it...

Desperately trying to set up my Z. With an O I get COZ 2H. I also was playing some spread defense here as I knew Ian had one of the last eses on his rack. This partially blocks the MURRAINS hook, but allows lucky 2x2s to hit if I were to be so fortunate as to draw one before he hits me again. 3A C(A)W is another option, and would have been the spread-saver in this scenario. Ian thought that I was setting up my E with (WAG)E while blocking his S... Diversion successful!!! Oh, I'm still down 100? My clock is at 18:31.
>Ian_Weinstein: DSX C3 X.D +43 302
#note XD
>Joshua_Sokol: ?CEEIIZ 7I .IECE +12 158
#note I was very close to playing C(OD)EINIZE* here. J6 ZI(N) was so counterproductive, despite doing best on equity. It blocks two lanes, but I can still go down from column L, I guess, and open more stuff that way. I liked how this allowed for multiple bingos to occur, so long as they happened very soon. I can now play from the C, hook PIECE, and I also have a second spot to play my Z. I just only scores 12 points...
>Ian_Weinstein: AJY 2H JAY +40 342
>Joshua_Sokol: ?AAIIIZ 6J ZA +65 223
#note great, he just blocked ZAmIA for 100
>Ian_Weinstein: ELOSTUV M6 V.LOUTES +74 416
#note great, he just blocked every reasonable bingo lane on the board. With a bingo.
>Joshua_Sokol: ?AIIIIU -IIIIU +0 223
#note Great, I just drew UI to IIIA?
>Ian_Weinstein: EQSTU L1 QUEST +56 472
#note great, he just... ok i'm done with this game
>Joshua_Sokol: ?AABLNO A5 BAAL +29 252
>Ian_Weinstein: IO L12 OI +10 482
#note smartly only playing a couple of tiles in an awful-looking pool.
>Joshua_Sokol: ?LNOOOU 8M .OO +9 261
#note Continuing on the same vein of being just your run-of-the-mill annotator: "Can you believe these racks I'm getting? You can't make any of this up!" --- hehe
>Ian_Weinstein: FIIRTY B9 .ITRIFY +36 518
#note jesus
>Joshua_Sokol: ?ILNORU 1L .UIN +39 300
#note I had a bingo here!!!! lol 58 points
>Ian_Weinstein: DH 10L D.H +15 533
#note block them lanes!, your opponent has had the blank for 12 turns. Better late than never.
>Joshua_Sokol: ?DELNOR 15A L.RED +30 330
#note I just looked over whether or not this was a word with Jason Li!!!! So quick to forget at my old age of 23. M1 (U)NDO was the goal, but I didn't want to leave him with GYRI. Turns out I can go out in two after GYRI, so this loses by only 201 points in the end.
>Ian_Weinstein: EGIIOR D2 GE.II +23 556
>Joshua_Sokol: ?NO M1 .NdO +26 356
#note Salvaged a 200+ point loss with a phony 5 in the endgame. Welcome to my world, Weinstein! Never give up. You hear me? +5 in the endgame master
>Joshua_Sokol: (OR) +4 360
