>Joel_Horn: AMNW 8G MAWN +18 18
>Jackson: BCILTYZ J6 ZI.CY +47 47
#note considered BLINTZ as well to set up the E hook he might not know. I wasn't 100% sure of it myself, so I think I would have gone with blintz if I was sure
>Joel_Horn: EJT 7F JET +18 36
>Jackson: BLNRTVV -BLNVV +0 47
>Joel_Horn: EFNR 10F FERN. +19 55
>Jackson: AADIRTX 11E RAX +34 81
#note tough decision here. RAX has a worse leave than TAX, but TAX gives up plays from the R. I think against a better player I would go with TAX, because with both hooks in hand I have the advantage in hitting the R. as well, part of my rationale for RAX was to not give him easy plays, but I think underlaps are easy enough that it's still worth it to play TAX.

in a sim, his average score increases by about 4 from rax to tax, but mine increases by almost 6.
>Joel_Horn: DEPS 12C SPED +23 78
>Jackson: AADINTU K4 UTA +17 98
#note kind of lost here, I hated uta but I hate everything else more. I didn't see (S)AU but I don't mind it - occasionally he hooks it with an S, and he doesn't have an L too often.
>Joel_Horn: BGGINST 4J B.NG +14 92
#note he said this was his rack. BUG looks better
>Jackson: ADEIINO M3 A.IO +10 108
#note OI under SPED is not bad. I don't mind taking out his better S lane (zas). this tournament, I found myself leaving bingo lanes open that scored badly and gave back a lot of lanes. the ZAS lane will both score more and give back less.
>Joel_Horn: AGO 13D AGO +20 112
>Jackson: ?ADEIKN C5 KNAIDEl. +65 173
>Joel_Horn: ILL 5C .ILL +16 128
>Jackson: EEEMNPQ D4 Q. +22 195
#note shedding the Q so I can have a more flexible rack to block with next turn
>Joel_Horn: BGL 8A GL.B +30 158
>Jackson: EEEMNPV 14A VEEP +25 220
#note my thinking with VEEP is that if he hits a bingo on row 15, I can score some with MO(V)E and stuff like that and keep my lead, but I think the lane VEEP creates is just too dangerous. N6 PEEVE is the same idea, but I prefer it cause it takes out the lower right side for bingoes, and very often he'll play through the E, blocking O column bingoes.
>Joel_Horn: CEO A12 CO.E +36 194
>Jackson: DEHIMNO B10 HE +27 247
#note this is the downside of VEEP - I don't draw an A or S, can't comfortably block the lane, and now I sit and hope he doesn't hit anything. I play HE to keep scoring in order to hopefully outrun bingoes
>Joel_Horn: ASTU B2 UTAS +17 211
#note so he has an S, and probaly an A as well
>Jackson: DIMNNOT 15A .ND +9 256
#note I'm not up by quite enough to try and outrun 15 row bingoes, so I take care of the spot now (especially after the range he's repping with UTAS)
>Joel_Horn: IO E3 OI. +14 225
>Jackson: FIMNOST N6 MOTIF +34 290
#note not an ideal play, but he'll parallel this play a lot, blocking his lanes.
>Joel_Horn: EIRSVW O1 WIVERS +44 269
>Jackson: HINORSU 2E NOURISH +68 358
>Joel_Horn: Y 3E .Y +10 279
>Jackson: AAEEIOR 8N .A +6 364
#note there are spreadier plays, especially since I will accept some phonies if challenging can cost me the game. emptying the bag outrung all the bingoes (like SLOTTED), so I can play IOTA or M9 AI
>Joel_Horn: ?DELTTU 14F sLUTTED +67 346
>Jackson: AEEIOOR 13I AERIE +22 386
#note I lose by 2 if I challenge and it's good. a better player would not be phased by a loss, and would challenge it off
>Joel_Horn: R L12 R.. +8 354
>Joel_Horn: (OO) +4 358
