#note Yes, I'm actually uploading a game.
A real one, too!

#note Missed owlery, but I think against Chris this is a better line anyway.

#note This sims equivalent to ninja. Doesn't help that I missed it, though. I think I like this play better anyways against this specific opponent because of fewer disastrous draws and that it generally will force him to make non-bingo plays, even at this score.
>Chris_G: ?AADOST 13E mASTADO. +60 286
>Chris_G: ?AADOST -- -60 226
#note lOADSTA(R) missed by both of us. Confused with MASTODON.
>Sid: AACEINT 13F ANTIAC.E +74 282
#note If we assume that loadstar will not be played, what's the right play here, given that we both saw tostada? Interesting puzzle.
I have a much weaker rack than Chris here, so I don't mind the bingo tradeoff and the fact that he is forced to let me score a lot next turn.

#note forced to use the weaker scoring spot

#note Clearly better than QI for 18 imo, but did not consider the two Z plays of mozo and orzo, both of which Quackle has higher than this. Probably rightfully so, even though those are possibly more drawing-dependent.
>Chris_G: CRU A8 CRU +19 387
>Sid: ?EIMOTZ 2E ZOnETIM. +72 421
#note The candidates here are mestizo for 93, this, or not bingoing with mozo/orzo, this time all of which I saw. Mestizo loses to many outbingos, this loses to quite a few out-in-twos, and mozo/orzo loses to bad draws that don't hit. This is another case of three different plays having three distinct paths to victory, so now it's about quantifying them, which is hard to do over the board. Chris was low on time, and even so, I prefer to force him to make non-bingo plays.
CP likes ZOnETIM(E) best.

>Chris_G: AELNSTW 1F LAW +36 423
#note Now we both have less than 30 seconds left. This actually only 2 points off the more intuitive play, NEW.
>Sid: EFNRU 9C F.N +12 433
#note I slapped this down and luckily he missed his outs under heavy time pressure.
>Chris_G: ENST 3H TEN +15 438
>Sid: ERU 6J URE. +6 439
#note Grue is the best out.
I made this play with 0:00 left. However, when I neutralized the clock, the tiles weren't in the grooves completely. They were kinda hanging there.
We looked for a while in the rulebook, and apparently a tile is considered to occupy a certain square if the majority of the area of the tile covers that square, even if the tile is poorly positioned. And it could be rightly positioned without having my clock run. So my play stood, allowing me to win.
What's interesting is that if I had placed any one of my tiles faced down but within the grooves, I would have to fix it while my clock runs.
