>Jason_Li: EHPW 8F PHEW +24 24
>Joshua_Sokol: DEEEILR 9F EIDE +26 26
#note I saw EIDE!
>Jason_Li: ?ABEIMS 7I AMBrIES +69 93
#note 10A ABlEISM is 14 more. Jason prefers putting the S in the triple lane over the A. Quackle says I average 5 more points after AMBRIES. Jason was worried about a 3x3 since I had indicated my leave was decent. There are 20% more 3x3s with the A in 3rd position than with the S in 7th position, so after losing his previous game in an unlucky fashion, paranoia took advantage.
>Joshua_Sokol: DEGILRR O1 GLIDER. +33 59
#note Marginally better or worse than keeping the L and playing GIRDER(S). I considered that as well, figured as much. 4 ply at 3500 iterations says GLIDERS is 1 point better than GIRDERS and .3 better than GILDERS to minimize overlaps.
>Jason_Li: GIJS 10D JIGS +32 125
>Joshua_Sokol: IIKLNOR D10 .INK +30 89
#note He probably has an S, so I really didn't want to play this. I could have instead found my bingo in 5H IRONLIK(E) and I might have beaten Jason this game.
>Jason_Li: ASVV 14A VAVS +36 161
>Joshua_Sokol: EEILNOR 10I ELOINER +68 157
>Jason_Li: DEO A12 DO.E +30 191
>Joshua_Sokol: AACEUUX M9 U.AU +5 162
#note I knew AUCU(B)A but I talked myself out of it. Really awful to eschew that and play U(N)AU for 5. I also counted this as 6, and hoped he wouldn't have the S and it would cause further paranoia to set in. I was not that fortunate. This was a bad play.
>Jason_Li: NO 11J ON +10 201
>Joshua_Sokol: AACEPTX N2 AX +31 193
#note Should continue on my journey to draw a blank or an S with N10 (E)XPAT for 41, but ON was very worrisome.
>Jason_Li: ANOORST 13G RATOONS +78 279
#note yay I avoided disaster and he only scored 15 fewer points than he would have.
>Joshua_Sokol: ACEEPTW H12 C.PE +33 226
#note (I actually missed (E)XPAT last turn)
>Jason_Li: AQ 9L Q.A +25 304
>Joshua_Sokol: ABEITWZ 14H .AW +31 257
>Jason_Li: AEGIT 4J GAITE. +26 330
>Joshua_Sokol: BEIIRTZ J2 ZI. +33 290
>Jason_Li: HY B13 Y.H +19 349
>Joshua_Sokol: BEIRRTU 3G BRU.T +13 303
#note I keep missing plays at O10. This time I should probably go with O10 (R)UBIER although my chances of winning are similar if I play this since I might have to open something.
>Jason_Li: AEY H1 AE.Y +33 382
>Joshua_Sokol: EIMORTU 10B RE.... +16 319
>Jason_Li: CNOT 15G C.NTO +16 398
>Joshua_Sokol: ILMOTTU O10 .IMOUT +33 352
>Joshua_Sokol: ILMOTTU -- -33 319
#note Heartbreakingly, I recounted everything, found that I overscored UNAU as 6 instead of 5, so the fish that I saw, G3 (B)O for 9, would lose by 2 if I drew the blank out of the bag. I would hit ULTIMaT(E) C3 and ULTIMaT(A) 1A, but Jason could score 27 with 11C D(I)F and win by 2. ULTIMaT(ED) would then play as a 9 as well as ULTIMaT(A), but that would also come just short, scoring the same 80 points. So instead I confused RIMOUS and DIMOUT and played this phony.
>Jason_Li: ?DFFLNR 11C D.F +27 425
#note Playing just E11 (I)F forces me to block all of the bingos Jason has just set up with his draw of an O. FLOUNDER, UNFOLDER, INFOLDER, ENFOLDER now all play.
>Joshua_Sokol: ILMOTTU 5L TIL. +19 338
#note I miss the nice overlap of UTIL(E) again in the same spot. -14
>Jason_Li: ?FLNOR 1C FRONt.L +10 435
>Jason_Li: (MOTU) +12 447
