#note So once upon a time... Sid the storyteller was watching a game and came up with a beautiful summary:

#note Avery opens with DENARII, then Mike suspiciously plays cruziero*, gets a very generous pass-back from Avery, and corrects it to cruzeiro after 30 seconds. On the subsequent 3 turns, Mike then proceeds to miss two easy fifty point J plays followed by a top 1000 eight. Avery then plays EQUITY yet makes a blocking play the very next turn. Oh, and meanwhile, Mike has DENARII sitting on his rack with nowhere to play it. This is when Mike proceeds to rattle off two-tile plays and winds up drawing both blanks at the same time. He wraps up this game by missing an 82 point bingo on another two tile fish and then accidentally loses by only 11. And this is all while Avery has drunk roommates banging on his door.
Scrabble is really entertaining, isn't it?
