>Joshua_Sokol: EOPRRSU H4 POURERS +74 74
#note thought that this was phony. not sure why. REPOURS is good too.
>Dave_Krook: BHU G3 HUB +20 20
>Joshua_Sokol: BEIZ 10D BIZE. +36 110
#note no idea what my leave was here
>Dave_Krook: ?EILNRT E6 LINT.iER +64 84
>Dave_Krook: ?EILNRT -- -64 20
#note this was one of the weirder moments in my tournament history. Dave transposed the blank tile here in a unique way. He hit his clock after announcing the score, but failing to circle the blank on the sheet. I immediately hit his clock and told him to designate the blank. Upon realizing his mistake, he then took his letters back onto his rack. I realized this was sketchy, but I didn't care to enforce the rules to that degree here, as this was just a silly mistake, but he then said "can I play something else?", which prompted me to just call the director. The only thing he is allowed to do once I start his time again in this case is designate the blank after his failure to do so before making his play, so he has to choose a letter. Whichever letter he chooses, he is playing a phony. Instead of circling something he just passed his turn, which wasn't appropriate, because I might want to leave his phony on the board, but in this case it's obvious that I didn't, so I didn't care to strictly enforce the book on Dave.
>Joshua_Sokol: EIILNOO 7B LOONIE. +9 119
#note blocking the most obvious bingos. Obviously this is not optimal but I know what I'm doing.
>Dave_Krook: ?EILNRT C2 RETIN.Ls +64 84
#note as I said, I know what I'm doing
>Joshua_Sokol: EEEIITY D1 YETI +30 149
>Dave_Krook: IKN B1 KIN +23 107
>Joshua_Sokol: ?CEIQSS F6 Q. +31 180
#note Super tough decision here! CEISS? looks like an amazing bingo leave, but when you look at the board, you realize that you're kind of out of luck to hit a good 7 or 8 with those tiles. I didn't really have time (didn't want to take the time) to iterate between blank bingo racks, so I ultimately just decided to play off the Q anyway. E5 CI(N)Q, as I suspected, wins the sim by 1/4 of a percentage point. CEISS? is just not as flexible as you might think. I knew I would almost definitely hit something hooking C(HUB), but what if he blocks?
>Dave_Krook: CEFH 2G CHEF +31 138
#note well, that's precisely what happened!!!
>Joshua_Sokol: ?CEEISS 1H SpECIES +98 278
#note I looked for a few minutes here, and I was just about to play B9 ICElESS, and finally saw the only thing that plays at the primary hotspot on the board. Whew, that was close.

Notable is 8H (E)CESISEs. I like that word.
>Dave_Krook: AD 11F AD +17 155
#note probably DA instead? Not sure what he had though
>Joshua_Sokol: FILORTV 3J FRIVOL +33 311
#note I didn't see 8A RO(L)F, a clearly better play.
>Dave_Krook: ADGMOTT 6B A. +8 163
>Joshua_Sokol: JTU A4 JUT +21 332
#note no memory of my racks from hereon :(
>Dave_Krook: AEILNRT 8H .LATERIN +77 240
#note funny, he had that when he played RETIN(O)Ls!
>Joshua_Sokol: DEW 8A WE.D +38 370
>Dave_Krook: OX I4 OX +26 266
>Joshua_Sokol: AAGN 9G G.ANA +23 393
>Dave_Krook: DY E9 Y.D +24 290
>Joshua_Sokol: AEOT 10J TOEA +14 407
>Dave_Krook: OP E4 PO +13 303
>Joshua_Sokol: AGIOSTU 12A GOUTS +24 431
#note didn't see anything from the W so I knew blocking it was pretty worthless, but I decided to empty the bag anyway. WARGAMED+ works so this is fine
>Dave_Krook: AEGMMNR 13B MM +24 327
#note -16 to A10 EN(G)RAM
>Joshua_Sokol: AADIVW L5 WAV. +10 441
#note I saw 11L DIVA and I was about to play it to block A(R)R(A)NGE, but I didn't want him to play (BOX)ER so I made a fancy block of both. Optimally that's a win by 107, but if he plays (A)NGER, I can win by 121.
>Dave_Krook: AEGNR L10 .NRAGE +16 343
>Dave_Krook: (ADI) +8 351
#note Instead I blow 17 spread points as I do, and possibly 31 spread points.
