>Joshua_Sokol: ACEIINT -I +0 0
>Jim_Brennan: IIIII -IIIII +0 0
>Joshua_Sokol: ACEINTW H7 CAW +16 16
>Jim_Brennan: EELORTU I9 OUTLEER +65 65
>Jim_Brennan: EELORTU -- -65 0
#note Jim took a while, thinking there was something in this rack. I should have let this go, but I was unsure of the correct triple-triple to play through his R.
>Joshua_Sokol: DEINOST 8H .STONIED +80 96
#note I then took an unnecessary risk of giving Jim a tile to bingo through, hoping he will miss the 8 after losing a frustrating challenge. But I could just go with STONIED#. I was only 95% sure it was valid though
>Jim_Brennan: EELORTU 7G E.O +10 10
#note I also thought I might have been missing another playable bingo in which case sacrificing 7 points to play STONIED# would have backfired terribly and I would have gotten annoyed at myself. ECU looks a bit better, but I'm lucky Jim missed ROULETTE.
>Joshua_Sokol: AAOUVYY L8 .OYAU +16 112
#note ]after a bizarre turn of events I draw a pretty awful rack. It might be better to play 9J AYU to set my V up if I draw an
E. Meh.
>Jim_Brennan: CEILRTU 6A UTRICLE +65 75
#note And boy does that "meh" understate the mistake NOYAU appears to have been. RETICUL(A) is 90.
>Joshua_Sokol: ALNTVXY A4 VA.LTY +48 160
>Joshua_Sokol: ABENOUX (challenge) +5 165
>Jim_Brennan: OOZ K11 ZOO +48 123
>Joshua_Sokol: ABENOUX C3 EXU.BAN +40 205
#note missing UNBOX. Serious tunnel vision at fault since I really liked this play.
>Jim_Brennan: ELU D2 LEU +26 149
>Joshua_Sokol: AIJOPQS 10F QIS +41 246
>Jim_Brennan: FGI 11E GIF +30 179
>Joshua_Sokol: AJOPPRT B1 JAP +29 275
#note two 40-point plays at M10 Collins-only
>Jim_Brennan: ?EEIMNT O1 rEMINTE. +83 262
>Joshua_Sokol: DIOPRST 14I DISPORT +87 362
#note perhaps I should have sacrificed 7 points to play at N7 but my intuition told me otherwise. It's a valid alternative.
>Jim_Brennan: EHO 13M HOE +26 288
#note Jim said he had a good bingo leave here, like EORT or something.
>Joshua_Sokol: DGNNSVW O12 V..S +33 395
#note seemed just worth it over exchanging. See if I can draw two vowels :)
>Jim_Brennan: AERR 15F RARE +15 303
>Joshua_Sokol: ADEGNNW 14B GNAWED +33 428
#note yahoo!
>Jim_Brennan: KMR N7 M.RK +24 327
>Joshua_Sokol: AABGINN N2 NAB +22 450
#note I wondered whether or not to fish here. I didn't seem to hit something enough to warrant it. Figured this both slowed him down and allowed me to hit some stuff sometimes. Also had a feeling the blank could be out still. Champ prefers 12C AGIN by a large margin. I can see the merit. ABN seems pretty good with the remaining pool (no duplicates, good synergy with most of the letters, etc.
>Jim_Brennan: E F5 E. +2 329
>Joshua_Sokol: ?ADGINR 4F GRADINg +72 522
#note I first laid down 12A GRADINs correctly, but doubted the word just enough to play it safe and play for 72 instead of 90. Sizeable mistake, but mostly prevented me from seeing the absolutely stunning 9-letter word available here. I knew it too.
>Jim_Brennan: EFHILOT M1 FOH +37 366
>Joshua_Sokol: I B6 .I +7 529
