>Rafi_Stern: EEFM 7F FEME +31 31
>Mike: ?AEEQTW 9E QAT +20 46
>Rafi_Stern: AHLO 6G HALO +34 65
>Mike: ?EEKRRW 5J WEEK +27 73
#note Didn't even consider fishing here; AW F9 hits 62% of the time, and wins the sim handily.
>Rafi_Stern: DGSY L4 S.DGY +28 93
>Mike: ?EEORRS N5 SObERER +72 145
#note Probably worth throwing the lines open for six extra points with REpOSER. Playing SObERER at 10G is also interesting, especially given what happens next.
>Rafi_Stern: EINRSSU 10E INSURES +87 180
>Mike: CIIJNOU -CIJOU +0 145
#note Not sure why I couldn't find a play I liked here. I disagree with the sim winner, ION O6, but SOJU K10 is fine.
>Rafi_Stern: EILW O6 WILE +35 215
>Mike: ABGIINT K8 BA.ING +25 170
#note BAIT or BIT at 5D wins the sim; I get the idea of trying to keep the top left open, but I'm not sure that's the way to do it. Reopening the bottom right makes just as much sense to me. SI K10 is also an interesting idea, but I don't think it'll work against Rafi.
>Rafi_Stern: CIOPT H10 .TOPIC +33 248
#note Oops. It seemed reasonable enough at the time, and it kept a few more lines open.
>Mike: ?DIILTT 4H DIT +12 182
#note On the surface, playing at 5E makes more sense, but once that line gets blocked, where exactly is my second bingo going? This splits up the lines up top and keeps the bottom open as well.
>Rafi_Stern: HIOPRZ 14B RHIZOP. +46 294
#note (Misscored as 48.)
>Mike: ?ILOTVY H1 VOI. +24 206
>Rafi_Stern: AEGN 15A GEAN +28 322
>Mike: ?EIJLTY 5D JILT +34 240
#note Playing off one fewer tile (and not exposing the J for scoring by Rafi) with JET sims marginally better.
>Rafi_Stern: AENOTV M10 NOVATE +22 344
>Mike: ?BEIORY 13A YO +8 248
#note RIBEYE 15J winning the sim is a classic case of Quackle assuming that Rafi won't block the top of the board. Maybe I need to score enough to get close and hope Rafi just flat-out *can't* block, but it feels like opening a second line has to be right, and I don't see any other good way of doing so.
>Rafi_Stern: ADNTU 12B DAUNT +17 361
>Mike: ?ABEIMR 1H .ERBAtIM +95 343
#note Drawing dead. BEMA 15L only works if Rafi's asleep at the switch. Given that we roomed together, I can safely say Rafi was sleeping pretty well, so that's not an out either.
>Rafi_Stern: CDELNUU O11 CLUED +32 393
>Mike: AOR L13 OAR +13 356
#note Ooh, TAROK M1. (Final score recorded as 395-360.)
>Mike: (NU) +4 360
