>Jackson: ADEGNOR H6 GROANED +72 72
>Winter: EEY I8 EYE +23 23
>Jackson: EEIQTVZ 11D EVIT. +16 88
#note Q prefers EVITED, cause it says evit(e) and evite(d) have about the same effect on my and winter's score, so take the points now. both plays have good and bad sides - I don't know how often winter plays at 12a vs. 10f after EVIT(E), but I imagine it's somewhat close, maybe a slight edge to 10f. I still draw Z plays or the occasional Q play at 12a after that (even though comebacks kinda suck). EVITE(D) leaves only the one spot I can hit, but the good thing is that, even though he will play at 11e quite often, blocking any potential Q play, it gives back a Q or Z play if he overlaps with and A or I at f11, rather than an E or U. and the occasional I overlap will give a huge Z play. I'm not sure which is better, because EVIT(E) I think leaves me with better options if he takes my setup. They're probably close.
>Winter: DEGILNO D5 ELOIGN.D +72 95
>Jackson: EIJQVWZ F10 Q. +31 119
#note my rack is the scoringest. I should just play WIVE/NEW to keep JQZ.
>Winter: ITX E3 TIX +38 133
>Jackson: EEIJVWZ C3 JIVE +43 162
>Winter: DIL 7B ID.L +25 158
>Jackson: EEGPTWZ J10 WEPT +31 193
>Winter: IL 5C ...IL +15 173
>Jackson: EGOSTWZ F4 T.Z +34 227
#note I wasn't very comfortable playing T(I)Z here because of the NEW hooks, but I also know I usually play too paranoidly, and if he doesn't hit it next turn I can deal with it next turn. I felt that playing W(AY)S is just a bad idea here, and WOST is probably worst than WAYS. I prefer winter on a closed board for sure, which is good about WAYS, but I just don't like my prospects, and TIZ can outrun bingoes if he has them.

with S specified, Q likes TIZ best, with WOST and GOW(D) not far behind. I get GEEZ and the occasional ZOO?? play, which is nice.
>Winter: ABDEEOU -ABDE +0 173
#note kind of a surprising play after vexil
>Jackson: EGHMOSW K8 GOSH +33 260
#note can't remember my last tile after EGHOSW... I think it was M, maybe P.
>Winter: ACO B6 C.AO +23 196
>Jackson: AEIMOPW A8 AWE +29 289
>Winter: ENST 8K .ENTS +21 217
>Jackson: AIIMOPU O3 MIAOU. +9 298
#note missed IMPIOUS, which looks best
>Winter: OY D2 YO +15 232
#note very happy to see this come down, cause it could be used to make annoying setups later on, like KI
>Jackson: AAACIPR M6 PA.IC +11 309
#note PARIAN was the play I was looking for. In retrospect, AA 9M is probably fine, even though it leaves the E. also ACAP(N)IA is a cool word, though I probably wouldn't play it. Panic gets the job done, cause it will be really hard for him to do anything at this point. I still prefer parian, cause it outscores well.
