#player1 Daniel_Blake Daniel Blake
#player2 Matthew_O'Connor Matthew O'Connor
>Daniel_Blake: DEEEFIT H4 FETID +26 26
>Matthew_O'Connor: AEISSVX G6 AXIS +42 42
#note AXIS vs VITEX is close... his range doesn't include keeping any tile that would hit AT hard. Didn't consider XI which might be better though...
>Daniel_Blake: ELZ F8 LEZ +38 64
>Matthew_O'Connor: CEEOQSV 6F Q.. +32 74
>Daniel_Blake: AFOS I3 OAFS +31 95
>Matthew_O'Connor: CEEIOSV J2 VIE +22 96
#note Didn't want to throw caution into the wind with VOE... it might work out if he spaces on the E hook though. He also might try to pluralize FAE which would be nice
>Daniel_Blake: EEY 8C EYE... +14 109
>Matthew_O'Connor: CENNOSS D4 CONE. +20 116
#note I like CONEYS the best on second thought. It telegraphs an S but it makes the DLSs in the area much less volatile and I still am keeping an S.
>Daniel_Blake: BDTU C5 TUB.D +24 133
>Matthew_O'Connor: NNRSSUU I8 SUN +15 131
>Daniel_Blake: ABK 11I KAB +26 159
>Matthew_O'Connor: CNPRRSU L11 SPURN +26 157
#note Dan overdrew here, I saw APY. I threw away the A. That might not be optimal considering he's guaranteed to be able to play YAP/NY next turn for 29, but I did it because I knew I was going to play SPURN and didn't want to set up extra bingos for him.
>Daniel_Blake: HY 12J HY. +23 182
#note I guess he missed NY
>Matthew_O'Connor: ACDNNOR 15G CANNO. +24 181
#note I didn't like CARDON after a two tile play (whenever really...) I also didn't like keeping NN. CARON, which I didn't know is probably best, but otherwise I'm fine with cannon. The placement also could grant one of us extensions at some point, but at a currently even score that's basically a moot point.
>Daniel_Blake: IIII -IIII +0 182
>Matthew_O'Connor: DJLLRRU H12 JUR. +19 200
#note I chose this over JUN because I didn't want to give him an S hook after an exchange. Keep in mind that Dan put 3 tiles down, almost hit his clock, thought for about 30 more seconds and then put one more tile down before exchanging. I put him on a strong leave that's marginally better to dig for blanks because of the extra tile. Therefore I wanted to block some bingos. Also bingos to the D give us both something in return and I get first pick at the triple I want to use.
>Daniel_Blake: GILMNOT 2J .OMIT +20 202
>Matthew_O'Connor: ADELLOR O1 LOADER +38 238
>Matthew_O'Connor: AEGLOPR (challenge) +5 243
#note I would know ODALLER if it made it into type two 7s, but for some reason it isn't listed as one. Also missed MORALLED.
>Daniel_Blake: OWW N5 WOW +20 222
>Matthew_O'Connor: AEGLOPR M4 GALOP +24 267
#note I like this play... It blocks a fairly usable couple of bingo lanes that don't yield anything, scores comparably to the top scoring plays, keeps a good leave, and goes through tiles.
>Daniel_Blake: GL E7 G.L +13 235
>Matthew_O'Connor: AEEHIRT E4 HE +23 290
#note Missed EH/HYPE/UH
>Daniel_Blake: EIR F2 REI +13 248
#note CANNONIER!
>Matthew_O'Connor: AAEIRTV B9 AVIATE +37 327
#note I missed VERATRIA but I'm not entirely sure that's better... AVIATE only loses in a few situations. Dan has to bingo and draw a big enough follow up, and the follow up has to be at least 30 points usually. If I don't draw the G or M it might be lower. Dan also must have a bingo right after AVIATE in order for him to win. Generally he only wins if he gets something like CANNONIER or CANNONEER down after the bingo. VERATRIA yields enough triple triples that against a perfect opponent I win 89.39% with AVIATE and 87.88 percent with VERATRIA.
>Daniel_Blake: ??DEINT A3 EDITiNg +77 325
#note Interestingly enough Dan has no bingos scoring 78.
>Matthew_O'Connor: EGIMORT A12 MIRE +38 365
#note No need to be this lazy. I can at least take the time to find that MITE yields lower scoring outplays for Dan.
>Daniel_Blake: AIR C12 RAI +20 345
>Daniel_Blake: (GOT) +8 353
