#note Okay so I saw 3 possible bingos. DENTALLY, which is valid. This, which is not. And *ALLEYED. You might wonder why I would think of ALLEYED, but not ALLOYED or ALLAYED. You also might wonder why I thought *TALLEYED had a better chance of being valid than DENTALLY. You'd be right to ask those questions, and I can only shake my head in response.

>Matthew_Larocque: AEKNNST 11I TAKEN +27 263
#note 6B KA(I)N. She had left EDGPS though, so what's the worst that could happen?
>Noella_Ward: DEGIOPS M5 DEPOSI.G +66 221
#note HAHAHA EDGPS elite bingo leave.
>Matthew_Larocque: ?INRSTU J2 UNSTRIp +67 330
#note Oh geez look at this rack. I'm cruising now right? Wrong. Also I couldn't remember if *UNSTRIP was a valid anagram of TURNIPS, or just the same wrong answer I kept giving instead of TURNIPS. Never mind that there's like 15 actual bingos here. No really, I played this instead of RUSTING in the same spot.
>Noella_Ward: DYZ 8L D.ZY +57 278
>Matthew_Larocque: EEIIMTU L2 ETUI +11 341
#note I could already feel the choke coming. (E)MEUTE.

#note 15D HIM.
>Noella_Ward: AQT O4 QAT +28 346
>Matthew_Larocque: AEEGIMW I2 MI.E +16 376
#note Yes I saw the B column plays, but I had to hustle. I saw that this left WAGE/WERE to go out next turn. Good plan?
>Noella_Ward: AJMOO B1 JAM +30 376
#note Except she can do this lol.
>Matthew_Larocque: AEGW 1M GAE +19 395
#note Because AWE is too hard to see, nevermind H1 WE. WEA(R) in the same spot!
>Noella_Ward: OO B8 OO. +11 387
>Noella_Ward: (W) +8 395
#note Holy ****! Okay so, the original score was 399 - 395 in her favour. I asked for a recount. We correctly discovered that she was overscored by 4 points on the FEZ play. However, somehow we deduced that my final score was overscored by 1 point even though it was correct all along! I can't even remember what play the "mistake" was on! How do you screw up the math on a recount when all you're doing is carefully counting each play? The good news is Gregg's spread was better than mine, so this would not have affected the standings, but still. I can't believe it!
